﷽

I knew I was drifting. I could feel it—moving farther and farther away from the center, lost in a haze I couldn’t shake off. The fog surrounded me, thick and unyielding, pulling me deeper. I tried to find a way out, but the more I tried, the heavier it became.

Time and again, Allah reminds me of how this world can consume me, pulling me away from Him. And each time, He shows me—clearly, unmistakably—that I am not meant for this world. He pull...

As I finished my Salah, I pondered: How I used to pray in the past? Why did I view prayer as a burden, a responsibility to escape? Why were my prayers so ineffective, my recitations so passionless? Why did my worship feel reduced to a brief, mechanical ritual, lacking depth and meaning? Why did my recitations remain superficial, merely repeating Arabic phrases without understanding or passion? Why, as a Muslim, did I take so long to understand I...See more

In the Name of Allah, the most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

If we truly believe in the Hereafter, then surely we will be preparing for it; through both repentance and the deeds which Allah loves.

It’s not too late to start preparing. .

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

Perhaps you have lost a parent;
Perhaps you have lost a child;
Perhaps you have lost a friend;
Or perhaps you have lost your spouse.

When the days go by in the blink of an eye;
When you scroll through your phone and you see your child ever so small and you look across the room and see how tall this same child has become!
And your own pictures, just a few years ago you looked so ...

Hope rises in Palestine’s skies,
Amidst the tears, the endless cries.
We stay strong and bold,
Ignoring all of the lies told.
I have HOPE!

Olive trees stand tall and proud,
Peace wins above the crowd.
Through the rubble, through the pain,
Hope shines bright like morning rain.
I have HOPE!

Hold tight to your dreams,
Of courage, fierce and bold,
For in every tear and sigh,
Hope will never die.

From mountains high to seas so so wide,
Hope and jus...

Inspired by Sister Razia reflection !

Believing in the afterlife is one thing, but truly internalising it is another. It's not as easy as it may seem. Even Prophet Ibrahim (AS) asked Allah to show him how He gives life to the dead (Qur’an 2:260).

Though he already believed, he sought a deeper, experiential certainty. This shows that true conviction isn't just about knowledge, it’s about experiencing the reality of what we believe, especially wh...

A fleeting moment, an illusion - a dream.
24 hours a day , some days are longer than others. Do not think because of tests you are not loved , do not take this life into your heart. Keep it on the surface of your palms and lock the next life deep in the centre of the qalb where its safe and protected by the Almighty.

Allah SWT makes promises He would never break, makes no errors , so when you doubt and if you doubt the better that is to come the...

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

I used to walk this earth, as though this was everything, the parents I knew I thought were everlasting, I thought the world was a nice and calm place.

As we grew, we found loss, we understood that we will always have to live amongst injustice, sometimes some confusion, sometimes a pettiness and even little self worth. I could not keep up with the world and everytime I tried it ...

Bismillah

The less we worry about this life the better.
When we contemplate the next life - the hereafter , our concerns become halved for anything in this life.

May Allah SWT make us of those who are here only to build there.

Ameen Ya Rabb

Are we taking Dunya (this Life) as a shade in our travel to Allah or settled & lost?

وَلَلاٌّخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الاٍّولَى

And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (Qur'aan 93:4)

Imam Ibn Kathir (رحمه الله) says: 'the abode of the Hereafter is better for you than this current abode. For this reason, the Messenger of Allah used to be the most abstinent of the people concerning worldly things, and he was the greatest of ...
