فَكَذَّبَ
وَعَصَىٰ
٢١

but he denied and disobeyed ˹Allah˺,

ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَىٰ ٢٢

ثُمَّ

أَدۡبَرَ

يَسۡعَىٰ

٢٢

then turned his back, striving ˹against the truth˺.

فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ ٢٣

فَنَادَىٰ

Then he summoned ˹his people˺ and called out,

فقال انا ربكم الاعلى ٢٤

فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ٢٤

فَقَالَ

أَنَا۠

رَبُّكُمُ

ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

٢٤

saying, “I am your lord, the most high!”
