What made Orientalists attest to the preservation of the Quran in it's written form was the fact that they saw consistency across the various manuscripts which date back to the mid 7th century when Uthman RA ordered for the masahif (written copies of the Quran) to be unified. These consistencies exist even in cases where the uninitiated might assume that human intervention would be warranted. For example, in the writing of:

Allah (SWT) commands us to glorify Him and to mention His beautiful attributes; and when He commands us towards something, it is all for our own benefit.
Not only is it a form of 'ibadah in which we will be rewarded but it is also a solution to our fears, worries, and anxieties. When we reflect deeply on how great our Rabb is, everything else becomes so small; things start to feel easy. It gives us tranquility.
