وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٥٢

Sometimes I hesitate when sharing an ayah of the Quran on social media where it will be viewed by people from a variety of backgrounds on my friends list. This ayah reminds me that it's ok if people look at what I've shared and are displeased, judgemental, or annoyed. It's ok if they think I'm crazy or brainwashed. It's simply a reminder. And it's for the whole world, and that includes me and it includes them too.

أي والحال أن هذا القرآن أو الرسول -صلى الله عليه وسلم- (ما هو إلا ذكر) أي: موعظة وشرف (للعالمين) أي: كلهم؛ عاليهم ودانيهم؛ ليس منهم أحد إلا وهو يعلم أنه لا شيء يشبهه في جلالة معانيه، وحلاوة ألفاظه، وعظمة سبكه، ودقة فهمه، ورقة حواشيه، وجزالة نظومه، ويفهم منه على حسب ما هيأه الله له. البقاعي: 20/336.
