So be patient with your Lord’s decree, and do not be like ˹Jonah,˺ the Man of the Whale, who cried out ˹to Allah˺, in total distress.1

Life is like a beautiful picture made of many threads, with everything written مکتوب in لوح محفوظ , where our destinies are recorded.

When a gardener plants seeds and knows that each one will grow at its own time, he trusts the natural process. He doesn’t rush or try to force things to grow because he understands that picking fruit too early will spoil its taste and quality.

In our lives, we also start different journeys, like personal growth, ...

We have both verses referring to Yunus as the 'man of the whale'.

In Chapter 68 the nickname used was 'SaHib' which means 'companion' and is usually used to refer to someone who is accompanying and not one being accompanied. So you would say 'Abu Huraira is the SaHib of Mohammad PBUH' because the Prophet PBUH in this case is the one being accompanied and not the one following. So referring to Yunus as the SaHib of the whale based on this underst...

In the Name of Allah, the Most merciful, the especially merciful,

You will find further guidance when we act upon the Qur’an.

Today, I was quite angry, so I told myself 'let it pass, let whatever is bothering you flow out and don’t get too bogged down by it.' I remembered that Allah loves patience with His decree, something might seem insane, scary or difficult but exercising patience with Allah’s decree will navigate you towards better contro...

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful. the Especially Merciful,

Each Ramadan I pass through these ayats. I tend to reflect less in Ramadan and focus upon recitation. When Ramadan is over I like to recite more slowly with reflection. I have passed these verses over again and each time they cause me to pause. So many times I have wanted to make and pen a reflection.

Ramadan has left us and I took out my notebook which contains a reference to...

#QuranWeeklyDose #AllahLoves

Allah Loves those who continuously repent to Him.

Al Baqarah : 222 started off our Weekly Quran Dose (Week 3).
I admired Ustadz Mohannad's modesty as he shyly commented on the topic at hand.
For a lesson to be taught Allah SWT, the most supreme Teacher, spared no feelings.

Allah SWT talks about the most intimate relations to teach us to earn His Love by pursuing purity and also to constantly turn back in repentan...
