Sometimes Muslims are accused of worshipping a God that is not loving.
What is more loving than One who forgives His servant simply on the basis of sincere repentance?
No other form of payment required - no blood, no pain and suffering by a 3rd party. Sincere regret and repentance are enough.
Who forgives for free other than One who is full of love and mercy?

For me this is a touching verse. Despite Allah swt correcting them, exposing errors, and depicting aspects of their religions clearly, He still asks them a gentle and powerful question:
Will they not turn to Allah in repentance and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is All Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Almost every Surah except surah At Tawbah we are reminded of these attributes of Allah SWT. Allah Almighty has chosen to reveal many of His attributes to us, but these two we are reminded about the most.
