Upon reflecting on Surah Qaf - ayah 22, one is reminded strongly of the temporary nature of this dunya. One can imagine it as similar to one who is half asleep, only to suddenly have cold water thrown on their face, rapidly waking them up, making them aware of their surroundings.

♦ Mentioning the Day of Judgement and Death Together
In part of a discussion regarding surah al-Qamar, sheikh al-Islam ibn Taymiyah highlighted the following stylistic feature of the Qur’an:
والله تعالى في كتابه يجمع بين ذكر القيامة الكبرى والصغرى كما في سورة الواقعة ذكر في أولها القيامة الكبرى وفي آخرها القيامة الصغرى وذلك كثير في سور القرآن مثل سورة ق وسورة القيامة وسورة التكاثر وسورة الفجر وغير ذلك
وهذه السورة قد تضمنت من أصول الإيمان ما أوجبت أن النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- كان يقرأ بها في المجامع العظام؛ فيقرأ بها في خطبة الجمعة، وفي صلاة العيد، وكان من كثرة قراءته لها يقرأ بها في صلاة الصبح. ابن تيمية:6/83. السؤال: لماذا كان النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يكثر من قراءة هذه السورة في مجامع الناس؟
