فلا تهنوا وتدعوا الى السلم وانتم الاعلون والله معكم ولن يتركم اعمالكم ٣٥
فَلَا تَهِنُوا۟ وَتَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّلْمِ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَن يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَـٰلَكُمْ ٣٥
فَلَا
تَهِنُواْ
وَتَدۡعُوٓاْ
إِلَى
ٱلسَّلۡمِ
وَأَنتُمُ
ٱلۡأَعۡلَوۡنَ
وَٱللَّهُ
مَعَكُمۡ
وَلَن
يَتِرَكُمۡ
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
٣٥
So do not falter or cry for peace, for you will have the upper hand and Allah is with you. And He will never let your deeds go to waste.

(والله معكم): فيه بشارة عظيمة بالنصر والظفر على الأعداء. ابن كثير:4/184.
السؤال: ماذا يترتب على معية الله للمسلمين؟
(فلا تهنوا) أي: لا تضعفوا عن الأعداء. (وتدعوا إلى السلم) أي: المهادنة والمسالمة ووضع القتال بينكم وبين الكفار في حال قوتكم وكثرة عَدَدِكُم وعُدَدِكُم (وأنتم الأعلون) أي: في حال علوكم على عدوكم، فأما إذا كان الكفار فيهم قوة وكثرة بالنسبة إلى جميع المسلمين، ورأى الإمام في المهادنة والمعاهدة مصلحة فله أن يفعل ذلك. ابن كثير:4/184.
