In the story of Musa (peace be upon him) and Firawn, the magic of Firawn's magicians were utterly knocked out and defeated - and it happened so only by the will of Allah. Theirs was only a trick.
All Musa had to do was to put his trust in his Lord and listen to His command (to throw down his staff) and then instantly the staff turned into a snake and devoured their slithering snake-imitating illusions.

So Moses concealed fear within himself. (20:67)
It’s easy to understand why anyone would be scared. A massive display of snakes appeared to move before him, a great display of magic by the country’s finest.

Few of mankind will ever approach his level of corruption. Still, Allah sent guidance to him. On top of that, Prophet Musa and Prophet Harun were instructed to approach him with respect, because even a tyrant with a devastating track record may have a change of he...See more
While speaking about the names of surahs, the connections between a surah's name and its theme, and how frequently the story of Moosaa is mentioned throughout the Qur'an, al-Suyooti mentioned:
Some have said: Nearly the entire Qur'an is about Moosaa, and the surah that would be most entitled to be name...See more
