Today, when there was about 15 minutes left till the end of my work shift, I started to have my dinner, which my mother cooked and prepared.
But, the problem is, I was eating the food a little too quickly, and I was even standing up while I was eating. And the reason for that is that the security guards who relieve me (a 'relief' means I can go home once they take over) get a little mad if I am not ready to leave by the time they come.

When I read 'He is the One who sends salah upon you…' — يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُم — and then hear the command 'Establish the salah' — أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ — I feel them speaking to each other, like two halves of one heartbeat.
One is Allah’s turning toward me; the other is my turning toward Him. His salah descends — mercy, light, remembrance — and my salah rises — gratitude, surrender, longing. Between the two, there is a continuous dialogue....See more

In the silent embrace of these sacred verses, my soul journeys through time, transcending the confines of the present moment. Surah Najm, a tapestry woven with divine testimony, unfurls before me, revealing the blessed encounter of Prophet Muhammad SAW with the celestial realms. I am but a humble spectator, transported to an era where the Prophet SAW stood as a witness to the descent of Jibril AS in the seventh heaven.
It is human nature to form attachments with people and objects. This is axiomatic from the friends, family and materialism in our daily lives. And, I believe it is certainly beneficial when such attachments are for the sake الله سبحانة وتعا لی. However, what should you do when these attachments are detrimental to your ايمان?
