Today, when there was about 15 minutes left till the end of my work shift, I started to have my dinner, which my mother cooked and prepared.

But, the problem is, I was eating the food a little too quickly, and I was even standing up while I was eating. And the reason for that is that the security guards who relieve me (a 'relief' means I can go home once they take over) get a little mad if I am not ready to leave by the time they come.

A litt...

When you are done with your prayer: Mention Allah in abundance! [4:103]
When you are done with Hajj rituals: Mention Allah like you repeatedly mention and honor your forefathers, and even more! [2:200]
If you have khushu' (humility) in your prayer, you will automatically abstain from vain and useless talk! [23:2-3]
ya Musa! Establish the prayer for the sole purpose of remembering Me! [20:14]

The commands of Allah are meant to increase the quant...

Bismillah

When I read 'He is the One who sends salah upon you…' — يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُم — and then hear the command 'Establish the salah' — أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ — I feel them speaking to each other, like two halves of one heartbeat.

One is Allah’s turning toward me; the other is my turning toward Him. His salah descends — mercy, light, remembrance — and my salah rises — gratitude, surrender, longing. Between the two, there is a continuous dialogue....

✨Their are two elements to change:
1. Differentiation between wrong and right, and to accept wrong as wrong.
2. The next is to take steps to stand up against  it and eradicate it.

The Quran is AL-Furqan (نَزَّلَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦ). It is only through the internalization of this book that a person is blessed with the ability of distinguishing wrong and right.

✨ When a person take the decision to stand up, then the equipments requir...

If it were not for His guidance and mercy for us, we would certainly be misguided and disrespected. Even our sins are higher than mountains, we still seek Him, and hope forgiveness. Sometimes we ask Allah showing His mercy by responding our duas and protecting us from our sins.
Whenever I listen to Surah Taha, I always wait for this particular ayah to come but I don't exactly know why. It looks like Allah is talking to me while talking to Mus...

Journey to the Beloved [3]

In today's world, people often seek validation by hiding their vulnerabilities and projecting a false image, trying to appeal to an audience that doesn’t truly care about their struggles or journey. This process can be exhausting, as we conceal aspects of ourselves—whether good or bad—based on what we think others will accept.

However, when we reflect on Quran 20:14, we are reminded that the core purpose of prayer is ...

MUSA (AS) IN WADI THUWA

Pay attention to the ayahs that the Imaam recites during Taraweeh.  Whichever verses you hear; that is YOUR Gift.

Just like how Musa AS was Gifted with miracles during his meeting with Allah SWT; the verses you hear is meant for you. It may not be relevant at that moment but just like Musa's Gifts; it would come in handy when the right instance or the right circumstance presents itself.

The next time you recite Surah Al Taha in your Salah especially, or outside of it. Imagine yourself to be Musa ( Alayhi Assalaam) and replace your life story with his life story,
Outside of Salah pretend to have that conversation and reflect and see how your Lord Has favored you and chosen you, and shaped you for who you are and then take on life with in mind.
I speak to myself with this reflection. May Allah Grant Wisdom to appreciate His favor...

﷽

In the silent embrace of these sacred verses, my soul journeys through time, transcending the confines of the present moment. Surah Najm, a tapestry woven with divine testimony, unfurls before me, revealing the blessed encounter of Prophet Muhammad SAW with the celestial realms. I am but a humble spectator, transported to an era where the Prophet SAW stood as a witness to the descent of Jibril AS in the seventh heaven.

It is human nature to form attachments with people and objects. This is axiomatic from the friends, family and materialism in our daily lives. And, I believe it is certainly beneficial when such attachments are for the sake الله سبحانة وتعا لی. However, what should you do when these attachments are detrimental to your ايمان? I believe the outcome to this question determines your affection for your Lord. For instance, is it beneficial to have a te...See more
