He threatened, “How dare you reject my idols, O Abraham! If you do not desist, I will certainly stone you ˹to death˺. So be gone from me for a long time!”

Baba yake Ibrāhīm akasema kumwambia mwanawe,»Kwani wewe umegeuka na kukataa kuabudu waungu wangu, ewe Ibrāhīm» Basi usipokomeka kuwatukana, nitakuua kwa kukupiga mawe. Na niondokee, usikutane na mimi wala usiseme na mimi kwa kipindi cha muda mrefu.»
