It's amazing how the Quran shows the complexity and depths of grief in these verses describing the grief of Prophet Jacob from being separated from Prophet Yusuf.
It reminds me of the verse in Surat Al Mulk, verse 14: 'Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?'
This reassures us in Sha Allah no matter the depths of your grief that others may not understand, your Lord sees it and knows it.
