Ва унинг (Юсуфнинг) кўйлагини ёлғон қонга (яъни, бир қўйни сўйишиб ўшанинг қонига) бўяб келтирдилар. (Шунда Яъқуб) айтди: «Йўқ! Сизларга ҳавойи-нафсларинг бирон (ёмон) ишни чиройли қилиб кўрсатган. Энди (менинг ишим) чиройли сабр қилмоқдир. Сизлар сўзлаётган бу нарса (айрилиқ-мусибат) устида мадад сўраладиган зот ёлғиз Аллоҳдир».1
And they came with fake blood on his shirt. He said, “Rather, your inner desires have tempted you to do something. So, patience is best. It is Allah whose help is sought against what you describe.’’

Ils apportèrent sa tunique tachée d'un faux sang. Il dit: «Vos âmes, plutôt, vous ont suggéré quelque chose... [Il ne me reste plus donc] qu'une belle patience! C'est Allah qu'il faut appeler au secours contre ce que vous racontez!»
They stained his shirt with false blood. He said: "Nay, but your minds have made up a tale (that may pass) with you, (for me) patience is most fitting: Against that which ye assert, it is Allah (alone) Whose help can be sought"..
And they brought upon his shirt false blood.1 [Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe."
And they came with false blood on his shirt. He said: Nay, but your minds have beguiled you into something. (My course is) comely patience. And Allah it is Whose help is to be sought in that (predicament) which ye describe.
And they brought his shirt stained with false blood. He said: "Nay, but your ownselves have made up a tale. So (for me) patience is most fitting. And it is Allah (Alone) Whose help can be sought against that which you assert."
And they came with false (Literally: lying, a lie) blood on his shirt. He said, "No indeed, (but) your selves instigated for you a command. So, patience is becoming. And Allah is (The One) Whose help is to be sought against what you describe."
