ويا قوم استغفروا ربكم ثم توبوا اليه يرسل السماء عليكم مدرارا ويزدكم قوة الى قوتكم ولا تتولوا مجرمين ٥٢
وَيَـٰقَوْمِ ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يُرْسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًۭا وَيَزِدْكُمْ قُوَّةً إِلَىٰ قُوَّتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ ٥٢
وَيَٰقَوۡمِ
ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ
رَبَّكُمۡ
ثُمَّ
تُوبُوٓاْ
إِلَيۡهِ
يُرۡسِلِ
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
عَلَيۡكُم
مِّدۡرَارٗا
وَيَزِدۡكُمۡ
قُوَّةً
إِلَىٰ
قُوَّتِكُمۡ
وَلَا
تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ
مُجۡرِمِينَ
٥٢
And O my people! Seek your Lord’s forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance. He will shower you with rain in abundance, and add strength to your strength. So do not turn away, persisting in wickedness.”

The reality of dua is that the power of dua is not in the one making it regardless of his or her position, eloquence and which super duas he or she uses the power of it lies in the One Who receives it

ہماری دعائیں پیچیدہ یا مکمل طور پر تراشی ہوئی ہونا ضروری نہیں۔
دعا کی اصل حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اس کی طاقت دعا مانگنے والے میں نہیں ہوتی، چاہے اس کا مرتبہ کتنا ہی بلند ہو، زبان کتنی ہی فصیح ہو یا کتنی ہی خاص دعائیں استعمال کرے۔ دعا کی اصل طاقت اس ذات میں ہے جو اسے قبول کرتی ہے۔
اس لحاظ سے کوئی دعا رد نہیں ہوتی، چاہے وہ استغفار کا ایک مختصر کلمہ ہو یا طویل اور تفصیلی دعا ہو۔

وفي الآية دليل على أن الاستغفار والتوبة سبب لنزول الأمطار... والمراد بالتوبة هنا الرجوع عن الكفر، ثم عن الذنوب؛ لأن التوبة من الذنوب لا تصح إلا بعد الإيمان. ابن جزي: 1/399.
