When Prophet Yusuf (a) was captured and sold, Allah tells us that they sold him for a cheap price. This is because the people who sold him and the people who bought him did not realize his value. Likewise the people of Mecca did not realize the value of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) as they were driving him out.

he was a prophet of Allah-- of the closest to the Most High-- and still sold into slavery. yet Yusuf never gave up and judged himself as unworthy based on all the hardships he went through. Allah bless us forgive us and grant us the optimism and positive expectation (حسن الظن ) of Yusuf عليه السلام.

Sometimes the help of Allah comes in ways we least expect it.
- It comes in the form of difficulty when we are expecting ease.
- It comes in the form of having to work, when we are hoping for relief from all and any work.
Don’t doubt the help of Allah is there. It is. Just not in ways we want, but in ways that Allah knows is best for us.
Help came to Yusuf (AS) in the well, not in the form of a kind-hearted rescuer who delivered him into the lovi...

Surah Yusuf teaches us that Yusuf(A.S) had to go into the depth and darkness of that well in order to become the minister of Egypt. It is Allah's plan, whatever is happening in your life. And it's fine if you can't understand it. Allah wants you to trust His plan. He wants you to make dua, trust Him, have sabr and leave everything in His hands. Allah will make everything clear. You will understand, one day, why everything happened the way it did.
