And Allah promises something extraordinary: the patient will be rewarded “without account.” That means beyond measure, beyond calculation, beyond our imagination.In our modern world, patience can feel unnatural. We are used to instant results and immediate solutions. Yet spiritual growth follows a different pattern. Sometimes Allah delays your plans to guide you toward greater wisdom and closeness to Him. Not outcomes, not people, not worldly measures of success, just Him.The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), during the Hijrah, along with Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), had to hide in the cave as his enemies approached. Abu Bakr’s heart trembled, but the Prophet said, “Do not be sad; indeed, Allah is with us.” (Quran 9:40) That is the essence of tawakkul: the quiet certainty that even in the darkest cave, you are never alone.When the path is unclear, when plans collapse, jobs are lost, or loved ones fall ill, trust is tested.
