At-Tawba 9:34 ۞ يا ايها الذين امنوا ان كثيرا من الاحبار والرهبان لياكلون اموال الناس بالباطل ويصدون عن سبيل الله والذين يكنزون الذهب والفضة ولا ينفقونها في سبيل الله فبشرهم بعذاب اليم ٣٤
۞ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
إِنَّ
كَثِيرٗا
مِّنَ
ٱلۡأَحۡبَارِ
وَٱلرُّهۡبَانِ
لَيَأۡكُلُونَ
أَمۡوَٰلَ
ٱلنَّاسِ
بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ
وَيَصُدُّونَ
عَن
سَبِيلِ
ٱللَّهِۗ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
يَكۡنِزُونَ
ٱلذَّهَبَ
وَٱلۡفِضَّةَ
وَلَا
يُنفِقُونَهَا
فِي
سَبِيلِ
ٱللَّهِ
فَبَشِّرۡهُم
بِعَذَابٍ
أَلِيمٖ
٣٤
Enyi mlioamini! Hakika wengi katika makuhani na wamonaki wanakula mali za watu kwa batili na wanazuilia Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wale wanaolimbika dhahabu na fedha, wala hawazitumii katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, basi wabashirie adhabu chungu.

As-Suddi said that the Ahbar are Jewish rabbis, while the Ruhban are Christian monks. This statement is true, for Ahbar are Jewish rabbis, just as Allah said,
