At-Tawba 9:125 واما الذين في قلوبهم مرض فزادتهم رجسا الى رجسهم وماتوا وهم كافرون ١٢٥
وَأَمَّا
ٱلَّذِينَ
فِي
قُلُوبِهِم
مَّرَضٞ
فَزَادَتۡهُمۡ
رِجۡسًا
إِلَىٰ
رِجۡسِهِمۡ
وَمَاتُواْ
وَهُمۡ
كَٰفِرُونَ
١٢٥
Ama wale wenye maradhi katika nyoyo zao, basi inawazidishia uovu juu ya uovu wao; na wanakufa hali ni makafiri. 1

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Faith of the Believers increases, while Hypocrites increase in Doubts and Suspicion
Allah said,
وَإِذَا مَآ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ
(And whenever there comes down a Surah), then among the hypocrites are,
مَّن يَقُولُ أَيُّكُمْ زَادَتْهُ هَذِهِ إِيمَناً
(some who say: "Which of you has had his faith increased
