Al-Maidah 5:47 وليحكم اهل الانجيل بما انزل الله فيه ومن لم يحكم بما انزل الله فاولايك هم الفاسقون ٤٧
وَلۡيَحۡكُمۡ
أَهۡلُ
ٱلۡإِنجِيلِ
بِمَآ
أَنزَلَ
ٱللَّهُ
فِيهِۚ
وَمَن
لَّمۡ
يَحۡكُم
بِمَآ
أَنزَلَ
ٱللَّهُ
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
هُمُ
ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
٤٧
Na wahukumu Watu wa Injili kwa yale aliyo teremsha Mwenyezi Mungu ndani yake. Na wasio hukumu kwa yale aliyo yateremsha Mwenyezi Mungu basi hao ndio wapotofu. 1

Allah Mentions `Isa and Praises the Injil
Allah said,
وَقَفَّيْنَا
(and We sent...) meaning, We sent
عَلَى ءَاثَرِهِمْ
(in their footsteps) meaning the Prophets of the Children of Israel,
بِعَيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَوْرَاةِ
(`Isa, son of Maryam, confirming the Tawrah
