Al-Aaraf 7:116 قال القوا فلما القوا سحروا اعين الناس واسترهبوهم وجاءوا بسحر عظيم ١١٦

أَلۡقُواْۖ
فَلَمَّآ
أَلۡقَوۡاْ
سَحَرُوٓاْ
أَعۡيُنَ
ٱلنَّاسِ
وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ
وَجَآءُو
بِسِحۡرٍ
عَظِيمٖ
١١٦
Akasema: Tupeni! Basi walipotupa, waliyafanyia uchawi macho ya watu na wakawatia hofu, na wakaleta uchawi mkubwa.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ نَحْنُ الْمُلْقِينَ
(Either you throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw) before you. In another Ayah, they said,
