Al-Furqan 25:18 قالوا سبحانك ما كان ينبغي لنا ان نتخذ من دونك من اولياء ولاكن متعتهم واباءهم حتى نسوا الذكر وكانوا قوما بورا ١٨
قَالُواْ
سُبۡحَٰنَكَ
مَا
كَانَ
يَنۢبَغِي
لَنَآ
أَن
نَّتَّخِذَ
مِن
دُونِكَ
مِنۡ
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
وَلَٰكِن
مَّتَّعۡتَهُمۡ
وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ
حَتَّىٰ
نَسُواْ
ٱلذِّكۡرَ
وَكَانُواْ
قَوۡمَۢا
بُورٗا
١٨
Responderão: Glorificado sejas! Não nos era dado adotar outros protetores em vez de Ti! Porém, agraciaste-os (combens terrenos), bem como seus pais, até que se esqueceram da Mensagem e foram desventurados.

The gods of the Idolators will disown Them on the Day of Resurrection
Allah tells us about what will happen on the Day of Resurrection, when those whom the idolators used to worship instead of Allah, angels and others, will rebuke them. Allah says:
