Al-Baqarah 2:197 الحج اشهر معلومات فمن فرض فيهن الحج فلا رفث ولا فسوق ولا جدال في الحج وما تفعلوا من خير يعلمه الله وتزودوا فان خير الزاد التقوى واتقون يا اولي الالباب ١٩٧
ٱلۡحَجُّ
أَشۡهُرٞ
مَّعۡلُومَٰتٞۚ
فَمَن
فَرَضَ
فِيهِنَّ
ٱلۡحَجَّ
فَلَا
رَفَثَ
وَلَا
فُسُوقَ
وَلَا
جِدَالَ
فِي
ٱلۡحَجِّۗ
وَمَا
تَفۡعَلُواْ
مِنۡ
خَيۡرٖ
يَعۡلَمۡهُ
ٱللَّهُۗ
وَتَزَوَّدُواْ
فَإِنَّ
خَيۡرَ
ٱلزَّادِ
ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ
وَٱتَّقُونِ
يَٰٓأُوْلِي
ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
١٩٧
Il Pellegrinaggio avviene nei mesi ben noti 1 . Chi decide di assolverlo, si astenga dai rapporti sessuali, dalla perversità e dai litigi durante il Pellegrinaggio. Allah conosce il bene che fate. Fate provviste 2 , ma la provvista migliore è il timor di Allah, e temete Me, voi che siete dotati di intelletto.

When does Ihram for Hajj start
Allah said:
الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَّعْلُومَـتٌ
(The Hajj is (in) the well-known months.)
This Ayah indicates that Ihram for Hajj only occurs during the months of Hajj. This was reported from Ibn `Abbas, Jabir, `Ata', Tawus and Mujahid. The proof for this is Allah's statement
