كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
kun fa-yakūnu
كُنْ فَيَكُونَ
kun fa-yakūna
“His way is to say, “Be”– and it is!”

Explication

The two readings convey the same meaning, but in the second, the verb yakūn is subjunctive as a consequence for the imperative ‘Be’ [see al-Samin al-Halabi].

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
