I've always wondered why I most of the time felt empty in acts of worship. I even used to miss a number of Salawaat, may Allah forgive me. I once went to my room to make up my Salawaat for some of the day. After 1 or 2, I stepped away even though I had one more to pray because it felt devestating. It was so hard to focus and feel it.
