This one statement signifies that happiness or moments of joy were never the primary objectives. I have seen wise, intellectual people state that their aim in life is to be happy, or that happiness is a practice more than a pursuit. While there's nothing wrong with being happy, overwhelming emphasis laid on this one emotion, has led us to disregard others which are equally important, if not more....
Do we think we will always have what we wish for, while knowing we are limited in our perspective ?
And when we don't get what we want, will we remember to not doubt the many blessings we're gifted with ?
The blessings of the sky that covers us, The sun that shines on us, The trees that shade us, The water that quenches us, And first and foremost The All Knowing, Most Compassionate Creator Who guided us and loves us.
