Everytime I think of the virus I think of Ayyub alahi asalaam. 
What motivated him or what kept him keep his will to live. It's not easy to keep going especially with his situation where he lost everything. It hurts more if you have something, to lose it, compared to losing the possibility of having something, that you never had. 

Allah calls him , His slave and made him an example for everyone who thinks deeply. So perhaps we can find the will to get through this virus by pondering over Ayyub alahi As salaam. 

1) losing a blessing does not indicate Allah's displeasure
2) a sickness could be a means of your sins being removed. Or it could be a means of you getting closer to Allah. 
3) showing mercy to those that were with you in your lowest times could attain you Allah's pleasure.
4) never associate any misfortune to Allah even though He is the One that allowed you to get sick. 
5) even if sickness is inevitable it is your duty to do your part and firstly avoid being exposed as much as you can and then try your best to get better
6) The emphasis on keeping your oath in hardship and in ease
7) cleanliness and the right diet are very important in staying healthy. 
8) Allah may give you more than what you lost, better than what you had
That's all I have so far.
