We can clearly see that Allah is not hesitant in putting us to Jahannam if we follow Satan’s footsteps, which is 100% justified in my opinion, because after all the guidance Allah has given us, clothed us, raised us, provisioned us, provided us intellect, health, and comfort, revealed His word Quran, sent Muhammad p.b.u.h and his Sunnah, so that we don’t even move a single step out of Allah’s boundaries, and yet we find ourselves indulging in petty habits such as vain talk, backbiting, wasting time, procrastination, depression sessions, laying hours upon hours on our beds 🛏️, instead of initiating conversations with Allah in Sujood.

Indeed Allaah is Just.

Satan asked Allah for delaying his death till the Qiyamah. Satan too will die like us, he will not be saved. He’s just trying to mislead all of us through his whispers so we enter Jahannam naudhubillah, so we remain away from Allah till our appointed death, and the biggest regret approaches our conscience. 

However, look at how Satan said 'except your chosen servants among them', so based on this statement, we should ask Allah to make us among the chosen in every Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha prayer in Sujood (prostration) till we die.

Time is ticking out, Death can approach us any second, will we be among the chosen servants of Allah? We will find out as soon as the Angel of Death appears in a beautiful form, and takes our souls easily and swiftly. Or, he appears to us in a crooked ugly state and painfully snatches our soul, it depends on your connection with Allah azzawajal. You will definitely find out in the grave. 

حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ ٢
until you end up in ˹your˺ graves

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ٣
But no! You will soon come to know.

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ٤
Again, no! You will soon come to know

O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is Hearing and Knowing. [Quran 24:21]
