This verse serves us a warning thus, instills fear in the heart of a believer and hope in times of distress. Subhan Allah! 

We have this strong urge to connect with our fellows to socialize and get appreciation too. But at times, there's none to support us. We're left alone to take care of ourselves. You can't find a single person whom you could rely on or would comfort and assure you in the face of calamity. At times, when darkness and hopelessness engulfs you, you've to hold on to this verse where Allah swt assures us that He is watching over us. He knows what we do and hence we must not give up on doing good righteous deeds. The patience that we need to stay away from evil and what's forbidden, is of course, needed but we forget to advice each other that the same patience is also required to continue on the Righteous Path even if you're left alone and you've no one to rely on. That's when you need to tell yourself, I've Allah by my side and that's more than enough for me to face any trial sent down upon me. I'll fight until my last breath and there's no way I'll give up. I'm a Muslim and my strength comes from having firm faith in Allah.

The Heart and Soul of True Hifz

It requires sincerity, consistency, patience, and a constant reflection on the verses memorized. It's not merely about rote memorization but about living with the Quran in one's heart, making it a part of one’s daily life, and striving to embody its teachings.


It is not just memorizing, but pondering, understanding, and living it. When you reflect on the meaning and try to act on it, every verse becomes a light in your daily life.

Memorizing Surah Al-Alaa can stir some truly beautiful and deep emotions
My love for this surah increases when I read this Hadith: 
Samra ibn Jundab narrated that: The Messenger of Allah used to recite in the Friday prayer: 'Glorify the name of your most high Lord' (Al-Ala) and Has the story of the overwhelming event reached you? (Al-Ghashiyah). 

Whenever I finished learning any surah the feeling of peace happiness and love and the sense of achievement can't explain in words especially when reciting different surahs in Salah.

As humans, we are limited in our abilities. No matter how hard we try, it's ultimately Allah who grants us success. Acknowledging this dependence on Allah can help us stay humble and focused, and it reminds us to turn to Him regularly through prayers and supplication (dua), asking for His assistance in memorizing and understanding His words.

The true heart of Hifz is a journey of connection—a connection to Allah through His words. It’s not about how fast you memorize, but about how deeply you internalize and live by the teachings of the Quran. It is a process of purification of the heart, strengthening of the relationship with Allah, and nourishing your soul with divine guidance.
