There is so much happening behind the scenes. Don't just sit there and make dua and think that it was just a formality or it "might" be accepted. Nothing was unheard; I repeat, nothing was unheard.
Walk with so much certainty and confidence in Allah's plan that no trial or difficulty can shake your ability to trust Allah's divine Hikmah.
The healing is in the trial. It's there.
It's always there. 
Healing & ease are a byproduct of trials.
Allah doesn't give you a trial and just leave you to be.
He doesn't do that. Ever.
فَاِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ یُسْرًاۙ
So undoubtedly, along with hardship there is ease. 💓

I would like to share a reflection from the book “Reclaim your heart” by Yasmin Mogahed. (It’s her reflection, not mine, but I really agree with it).
Growing up I think I understood this ayah wrongly.
I used to think it meant: after hardship comes ease. In other words, I thought life was made up of good times and bad times. After the bad times, come the good times. I thought   this as if life was either all good or all bad. But that is not what the ayah is saying. The ayah is saying WITH hardship comes ease. The ease is at the same time as the hardship. This means that nothing in this life is ever all bad (or all good). In every bad situation we’re in, there is
always something to be grateful for. With hardship, Allah also gives us the strength and patience to bear it.
If we study the difficult times in our lives, we will see that they were also filled with much good. The question is—which do we chose to focus on? 
I think the trap we fall into is rooted in this false belief that this life can be perfect—perfectly good or perfectly bad. 
However that’s not the nature of dunya (this life). That’s the nature of the hereafter. 
The hereafter is saved for the perfection of
things. Jannah (paradise) is perfectly and completely good. There is no bad in it. And Jahannam (hell—may Allah protect us) is perfectly and completely bad. There is
no good in it.

Habits that are commit to onwards from this learning I have done on anxiety is that I will never, even for a moment think I'm alone in this life, Allah is always close. I will call upon Allah with my everything even without words, I'll let my tears do the talking. One thing I've actually realized, just by contemplating on this life, is that we're passengers on this journey, and we have tests here to test our worthiness for Jannah. The struggles, problems will always be there, but we can only overcome it if we have trust in Allah.

Some people find things placed easily on their plate, while others require more effort, more struggles, and more trials just to reach the same goal.

At times, it feels like my path carries more struggles than others. But I’ve realized — along with the struggles come miracles, mercies, and lessons that others may never experience.

Maybe Allah ﷻ wants me to walk a harder road, not to break me, but to bring me closer to Him, to show me that without Him I am nothing, and with Him I have everything.

It has happened so many times that my friends, or those around me, reach the same target with ease, while I go through obstacles to get there.

Some say it’s because I’m less vigilant, not just ‘hard luck.’ Maybe. But no, I’m not ranting or complaining.

Because there’s something I’ve observed through all my struggles: I was never alone.

He was always with me. He is, and He always will be.

He makes a way out for me. And it feels like living a miracle, things that rarely happen, or never happen at all, happen with me.

I feel like I’m not alone. My Lord is there with me. 
He knows I’m not strong or smart enough to face the world. He knows I’m weak. He has seen me struggle, and He will not let them go in vain. He will not let me suffer without purpose.

Maybe Allah ﷻ wants me to learn something, or to be shown something that without Him, nothing is possible. That I am nothing without Him. That my life would break apart without His mercy.

Maybe it happens to humble me, to make me more careful. To remind me of His blessings upon me. To remind me how incapable I am without Him.

Someone has truly said:
Allah knows how to keep a human; sometimes by withholding, sometimes by giving

For some, ease may be a test of gratitude. For others, struggle is a test of patience. Both are trials.
I used to think those who had it easier were more fortunate. But now I realize, ease itself is a trial of gratitude, just as hardship is a trial of patience. Every soul is tested, just in different ways.
For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.'
(94:5-6)


May Allah make everything easy for you and your family, and grant you help and relief from places you never imagined

Qur’an 93 is like a gentle hand on the shoulder, a voice that knows your nights and your mornings. 'Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor does He detest you.' These words are not theory—they are lived truth.

I think of the desert, where Prophet Ibrahim left his wife Hajar and their baby Ismail with no water, no shade, no visible hope. To the human eye, it looked like abandonment. But Allah was there. He saw the mother’s frantic steps between Safa and Marwa, and He made them an eternal act of worship. The smallest trust was recorded and celebrated for generations.

This is the Lord Qur’an 93 introduces to us—One who remembers every tear, every fear, every moment you choose faith over despair. He is not a distant ruler watching from the clouds; He is the One who turns a mother’s thirst into a spring that has quenched millions, the One who wraps a servant’s private trials in public honor.

For Gaza, and for all who walk through valleys of loss, this surah whispers: Allah’s gaze has never left you. Your sleepless nights, your aching hunger, your whispered prayers in the rubble—none of it is wasted. Even what feels insignificant in the world’s eyes is precious with Him.

When the desert seemed endless, water came from the ground. When the Prophet’s heart felt alone, the promise came: 'And surely, what comes after will be better for you than what has gone before.'

So hold on. The Lord who split the desert for water can split your sorrow for joy. The Lord who remembered Hajar remembers you. 

For indeed, with hardship comes ease. Quran 94:5

MashaAllah, brother everything will be fine. 

There’s something about hardships…

They turn hearts into stone.
They dry up our blood.
They turn nights into nightmares soaked in worry.
And it begins to make sense why Allah repeated this verse—not once, but twice.

Because people who carry pain—the insecure, the anxious, the overthinkers, the self-doubters—
they need reassurance.
They need to be reminded:
Nothing is as impossible as it feels in the moment.

There is always a way through.
Ease is hidden within the hardship—if only we learn to look with a heart full of patience and gratitude.

But instead… we often create terrible, imaginary outcomes in our heads.
We run from experiences that might heal us, just because we’re afraid of pain.

And yet—isn’t this the essence of faith?

To trust… when the road ahead is uncertain.
To stay calm… when the weight of existence feels too heavy.
To believe… even when we’re terrified.

I used to wish someone would take my hand and walk me through the dark path.
And maybe, that would’ve helped.

But then… how would I ever have discovered the strength Allah placed within me?

If I always needed someone to walk me through,
I would always be dependent—
and that’s not freedom.

True strength comes when you put your trust in Allah and take the first step, even with shaking hands and trembling knees.

Being brave doesn’t mean you’re not afraid.
It means you act despite the fear.

That’s how faith works.
You don’t know what’s ahead—but you know Who’s with you.

And He never throws you into a battle you’re destined to lose.

So I’m setting this verse as my lock screen.
To remind myself, every time I’m tested:

 'Indeed, with hardship comes ease.' ( Ash-Sharh 94:5)

There’s comfort to be found.
There’s wisdom in the wait.
And there is always faith to hold on to.

And...

Sometimes, ease doesn’t descend from the sky—it walks into your life in the form of people. 

A friend who listens without judgment. 

A stranger who smiles at you when you’re breaking inside. 

A message that says, ‘I’m here if you need me.’ 

Don’t overlook them. 

They might just be the answer to the dua you whispered through tears.....

This is perhaps one of the most frightening verses I’ve come across. Why?
Because in this verse, Allah SWT isn’t addressing disbelievers or hypocrites — He’s speaking to us, to those who claim faith, yet place this world above Allah, His Messenger ﷺ, and the path of striving in His cause.

The end of this Ayat Allah mentions 'wait until i bring about my decision' it shakes the soul. Because everywhere else in the Qur'an, Allah mostly promised glad tidings -

Promise of Forgiveness - whenever a sin is mentioned it is followed by - 'Innahu kaana Ghafooran Raheema' throughout the Qur'an (25:70, 33:73, 48:14, 58:12 and many more), 
Promise of guidance (surah Al-Ankabut 29:69), 
Promise of Sustenance (surah At-Talaq 65:2-3), 
Promise of Ease after Hardship (surah Ash-Sharh 94:5-6), 
Promise of peace and protection (surah Al-hijr 15:42), 
Promise of Jannah (surah Al-Kahf 18:107), 
Promise of Closeness (surah Al-Baqarah 2:186)

This is the generosity of our Rabb. He wants Jannah for us, He invites us with mercy.

But in this Ayat Allah SWT has promised punishment so this is something severe to prioritize anything above Allah SWT, His Messenger (PBUH), and striving in His cause.
as Also mentioned in this hadith -

'You must enjoin good and forbid evil, or else Allah will soon send a punishment upon you. Then you will call upon Him, and He will not respond to you.'
(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2169, Hasan)

To be disconnected from Allah, to call upon Him and not be responded to, Just the thought shakes my heart.

So dear brothers and sisters, choose the cause of Allah over the dunya — and you’ll see the dunya chase you anyway.

As the Prophet ﷺ said:
'Whoever makes the world his concern, Allah will place poverty before his eyes, scatter his affairs, and nothing of the world will come to him except what was written for him. But whoever makes the Hereafter his concern, Allah will place richness in his heart, organize his affairs, and the world will come to him submissively.'
— Sunan Ibn Majah 4105 (Sahih)

So let's strive for good deeds even if they are very small like mentioned in this hadith

'Protect yourself from the Hellfire even with half of a date (given in charity), and if he cannot find it, then with a kind word.'
— Bukhari 1413, Muslim 1016

Jazakum Allahu Khairan.
May Allah forgive us, have mercy on us, guide us on the straight path, and make us among the righteous.
Ameen ya Rabb al-‘Alameen.

Gratitude

I've recently fallen ill, Alhamdulillah. 
I kept thinking how previously I felt just 'not good enough' for my Rabb whatever I was doing, and I also a bit more than I could chew, taken on more tasks than I thought I could handle. 

We do that, us humans, for whom Allah SWT meant ease not hardship, then of course there was the other side of thinking Allah SWT tests those He loves and loves those He tests. 

Unfortunately almost lost my salah and dare I say there were so many testing times and am still struggling through it Alhamdulillah and I would not exhange it for the world because a lot of brows have been raised since the change or changes I made to become the version of myself I am today. 
I then thought I may be misguided, but it is He Who guides not people and if we're guided nothing can misguide us 

Until today, when I realised that through all the struggles my lifelong friend, my companion kept me and I kept it close to my chest in all respects, and it saddened me that I have forgotten myself just a little where I forgot that I spend at least 2 hours full on the Qur'an daily despite what's going on around me and despite the chaos and trials and tribulations I have to get through and the hurdles I jump every day and the very fact that apart from this moment now I have not once complained not complained as one would or should or could in my case Alhamdulillah then I remember again Praise and Thanks be to my Lord how Merciful He truly is that I was able to remain grateful, and I think that is exactly what saved me the fact that after all that's happened in the last year I've been able to say Alhamdulillah even in the most difficult moments of my life. 
For ease is here, it's the ease I looked for and found the ease that gratitude found in this fog of dunya and my heart breaks in pieces for my Lord so much so that every tear has now become a duaa 
And it does seem like a complaint whilst I type this up I know it seems that way, but I just wanted to remind everyone there is always ease if we are prepared to look for it and using gratitude by way of means and having full heart of belief that if you remain attached to His words nothing, no situation, no trial nor hardship or calamity can touch the surface of our faith if truly be grateful for every situation.

Jzk 🤲🌹Yes, we should never lose the hope in the Mercy of our Lord.

Surah Al-Fil shows us that Allah's Power is unmatched, but it also feels personal like a reminder that he's always there watching over you. it makes you feel safe knowing that no matter how tough things get Allah can turn everything around in ways you'd never expect. for its a lesson in trust and hope. even when life feels hard.

For me, Surah Al-Fil feels like a story I can hold onto when life gets heavy. I’ve had times where people hurt me, wronged me in ways I didn’t think I deserved. And instead of dealing with the hurt, I shoved it so far down and told myself it didn’t matter, like their words or actions couldn’t touch me. But deep down, it did. It still does sometimes.

This surah reminds me that Allah sees everything, even the things I pretend don’t bother me. Abraha came with all his power, thinking he could do whatever he wanted, and nobody would stop him. That’s how people who hurt you can feel untouchable. But Allah doesn’t let it slide. He doesn’t need an army or a loud fight to bring justice. He sent birds with tiny pebbles, and that was enough to crush what felt unbreakable.

This surah is a whisper from Allah saying, 'I see it all. I know how they made you feel, and you don’t have to keep pretending it didn’t hurt. I’ve got you.' It gives me hope, even when I’ve been holding my hurt alone for too long. It’s a reminder that I don’t have to let their actions define me, because Allah’s justice and care are bigger than any pain I’ve been carrying.

This reflection is a bit personal and I was not planning on sharing it, but it might help someone In'sha'Allah.

I couldn't hold myself together this morning. I sat down this morning with my usual cup of water, and then immediately my eyes filled with tears and I realised that I didn't want to be alone with my emotions anymore. My instant thought was to rush to my mum and just tell her, just let it all out. And so I did Alhamdulillah. I realise my worst trait is keeping things in, so I will try not to from now on In'sha'Allah. We rely on Allah, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't speak about your feelings. Sabr is not just about keeping everything to yourself and suffering in silence, I don't know where I learnt that from. I realise that I have never in my life cried with my head resting on my mum's shoulder until now. Why did I deprive myself of that? 

Allah made me go through that for a reason. To show me that it's okay to be open with what your feeling. Later on, I walked in nature for a bit and looked at the small flowers growing amidst the heavy rain and thunder we've been having in the UK. It reminded me of us humans. We go through periods of emotional fragility and vulnerability, we're confused, but then soon we experience good things and things start to make sense, we understand why this and that had to happen. And if it weren't for those heavy rain showers, the flowers wouldn't have grown. Such is the nature of this life. Allah is always preparing you for what's to come. Beautiful things await, In'sha'Allah.
