انا ارسلناك بالحق بشيرا ونذيرا ولا تسال عن اصحاب الجحيم ١١٩

إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ بَشِيرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُ عَنْ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ١١٩

إِنَّآ

أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ

بِٱلۡحَقِّ

بَشِيرٗا

وَنَذِيرٗاۖ

وَلَا

تُسۡـَٔلُ

عَنۡ

أَصۡحَٰبِ

ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

١١٩

Quả thật, TA (Allah) đã cử phái Ngươi (Muhammad) đến để báo tin mừng (về Thiên Đàng) và cảnh báo (về Hỏa Ngục) bằng sự thật, và Ngươi sẽ không bị chất vấn về những người bạn của Hỏa Ngục.

وَلَا تُسْئَلُ

wa-lā tusʾalu

“You are not (to be) asked about the people of hellfire”

This is a negation: the Prophet (ﷺ) is informed that he is not accountable for the unbelievers’ rejection.

وَلَا تَسْأَلْ

wa-lā tasʾal

“Do not ask about the people of hellfire.”

This is an instruction to the Prophet (ﷺ) to refrain from asking.

Giải thích

The two readings convey complementary meanings. The second reading can be taken as an expression for how severe their punishment will be [al-Mahdawi].

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
