This is a great ayah to reflect on with children/youth:  'And He created the cattle for you as a source of warmth, food, and ˹many other˺ benefits.' (16:5)

How many specific things can you think of that we fully, or partially, derive from cattle? Here's a few that I came up with :) 

1)Leather shoes
2)Ice cream
3) leather jackets
4) leather gloves 
5) leather car seats
6) Cheeseburgers
7) Cheese pizza
8) Cheesecake
9) Chocolate Milk
10) Latte's

This type of activity can help us become more mindful of the many blessings we encounter throughout the day. Perhaps next time someone is enjoying a hamburger and milkshake after doing this activity, it will cause them to remember this ayah and to reflect upon the many blessings they have been given by Allah. May Allah increase us in gratitude and make us mindful of Him at all times!

In this world animals provide us with food,clothing,furnishing, safety,transportion,labor, and emotional support. Whereas in the hereafter, these animals could be one of the keys 🔑to earn Allahs pleasure by being kind to them.We should respect and show mercy to them,as they are also a community like us.

From various hadith ,it is understood that Allah appreciates and give rewards to those who are merciful to animals.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'A man suffered from thirst while he was walking on a journey. When he found a well, he climbed down into it and drank from it. Then he came out and saw a dog lolling its tongue from thirst and licking the ground. The man said: This dog has suffered thirst just as I have suffered from it. He climbed down into the well, filled his shoe with water, and caught it in his mouth as he climbed up. Then he gave the dog a drink. Allah appreciated his deed, so He forgave him.' They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, is there a reward for charity even for the animals?' The Prophet said, 'YES, IN EVERY CREATURE WITH A MOIST LIVER IS A REWARD FOR CHARITY'.

Let us strive to be considerate towards animals,especially during the heat atleast by providing water and may Allah extinguishes our sins.
May Allah help us to benefit from these animals both in this world and the hereafter.

The origin story for all humans is the same .. we were created from a mere speck. At some point, I was nothing .. you were nothing too.

Realizing that, while also keeping in mind how short life really is, it makes me wonder if I’m not taking life too seriously.. Sometimes I worry about things which, in retrospect, seem utterly ridiculous. Exams, stress, fundraising .. and even businesses don’t really matter all that much in the long term for any single individual.

I remember reading a story online about how this guy argued that the secret to mastering life is to treat it as a game. Turns out, it almost is. I just need to make sure that I’m not withering away my life doing things that don’t matter.

I’d like to live this short life to the fullest (and no that doesn’t mean devolving into hedonism and living without rules). It means gaining experiences: it means exploring this planet by traveling alot. It means starting that business that I’d always wanted to start. It means helping people. Get those points, do it for the right reasons and #win.

God’s made life easy for humans — there’s animals for food and clothing, machines to help us build and make things and the Internet. To be grateful is to use these resources for the right things. To be even more grateful is to create resources that others can use to do even more.

TL;DR: Life’s short, you’re lucky. Act like it.

Why would an animal need to be beautiful to look at? They are not showing off or modeling their looks to other animals in the farm or the wild. its of course to benefit us when we look at them and appreciate their beauty, and that is in addition to the other benefits we derive from them like riding, food, clothing, etc
