ارشاد باری تعالی ہے: 
تَعْرُجُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِى يَوْمٍۢ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ (سورۃ المعارج، آیت 4)
'فرشتے اور روح (جبریل) اُس کی طرف چڑھتے ہیں ایسے دن میں جس کی مقدار پچاس ہزار سال ہے۔' 
احادیث سے یہ بات معلوم ہوتی ہے کہ قیامت کے دن کی مدت پچاس ہزار سال ہوگی۔ یہی وہ دن ہوگا جس میں کافروں کو یقیناً عذاب دیا جائے گا۔ یہ عذاب بلندیوں کے مالک کی طرف سے ہوگا اور کوئی طاقت کافروں کو اس عذاب سے بچا نہ سکے گی۔ (تفسیر تیسیر القرآن) 
آج میں ایک بات سوچ رہی تھی۔ ہماری اوسط زندگی 70 سے 80 سال ہوتی ہے (اللہ تعالی بہتر جانتا ہے یہ بس ایک عام اندازہ ہے)۔ 
قیامت کا دن پچاس ہزار سال کا ہے۔ اب اگر دونوں کا تناسب نکالیں تو 80 سالہ زندگی قیامت کے دن کا صرف 0.16 فیصد ہے۔ اور اگر قیامت کے دن کو صرف 24 گھنٹے مان لیں تو ہماری پوری 80 سالہ زندگی صرف: 2 منٹ 18 سیکنڈ بنتی ہے۔ 
یعنی ہم اپنی '2 منٹ 18 سیکنڈ کی زندگی' میں فیصلہ کر رہے ہیں کہ ہمیشہ کے لیے ہماری منزل جنت ہوگی یا جہنم۔ 
اس ایک فرضی اندازے نے آج مجھے جھنجھوڑ کر رکھ دیا۔ 
2 منٹ 18 سیکنڈ کی زندگی کے لیے میں کیا کما رہی ہوں؟ 
چھوٹے چھوٹے جھگڑے؟ جن کا نہ آغاز یاد ہے، نہ انجام۔
انا اور ضد؟ جو میری روح کو کچل رہی ہیں۔
لالچ؟ جو کبھی ختم نہیں ہوتی، چاہے ساری دنیا بھی مل جائے۔
حسد؟ جو دوسروں کی خوشی برداشت نہیں کرنے دیتا۔
دھوکہ؟ جس سے دوسروں کو نہیں، خود کو نقصان پہنچا رہی ہوں۔
ریاکاری؟ نیکی بھی کروں، تو دکھاوے کے لیے۔
اور کیا کھو رہی ہوں؟ 
سکون: جو صرف اللہ کی یاد میں ہے۔
وقت: جو ایک بار چلا جائے تو کبھی واپس نہیں آتا۔
محبتیں: جنہیں ہم انا کی بھینٹ چڑھا دیتے ہیں۔
اصل مقصد: جس کے لیے مجھے، ہم سب کو پیدا کیا گیا:
'وما خلقت الجن والإنس إلا لیعبدون' (سورۃ الذاریات، آیت 56)
اصل سوال یہ ہے کہ: کیا میں اس دو منٹ 18 سیکنڈ کو جنت کمانے کا وقت بنا رہی ہوں یا پچھتاوے کی آگ میں جلنے کا؟
اس آیت نے مجھے آج یاد دہانی کروائی: 
اس دنیا کا ہر لمحہ امتحان ہے۔
جو وقت گزر گیا، وہ سبق ہے۔
جو وقت باقی ہے، وہ موقع ہے۔
اور قیامت کا دن۔۔۔ وہ انعام یا انصاف کا دن ہے۔
اللّٰہ ہمیں اپنی زندگی کی حقیقت کو پہچاننے، چھوٹی باتوں کو معاف کرنے، دل کو صاف کرنے، اور اس دو منٹ کی قیمت سمجھنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔

⬅️وَ مَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَ الۡاِنۡسَ  اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿٥٦

انسان کی تخلیق کا مقصد:

آج میں آپ کے سامنے ایک سوال رکھوں گی ۔۔۔ تو میرا سوال یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالی نے سب سے پہلے آدم علیہ السلام کو پیدا کیا اس وقت جن بھی موجود تھے نیز فرشتے بھی موجود تھے پھر آخر کار اللہ تعالی نے انسان کو کیوں تخلیق کیا ہے؟ اس تخلیق کا مقصد کیا تھا؟

اللہ تعالی کا فرمان ہے:

⬅️وَ مَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَ الۡاِنۡسَ  اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿٥٦} 

اللہ رب العزت ہم سب کے خالق اور مالک ہے، قادر مطلق ہے، اس اللہ رب العزت نے اپنی مخلوق کی ہدایت کے لئے انبیاء اور رسول کی ایک نسل قائم کی ہے، انبیاء اور رسول میں اعلی اور عرفہ سب سے اسماء ہستی محمد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہیں۔ اس ہستی پر قرآن نازل ہوا اس قرآن میں اللہ سبحانہ وتعالی انسانیت کی تخلیق کا مقصد بیان کرتے ہیں (اور وہ مقصد عبادت ہے)

⬅️ وَ مَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَ الۡاِنۡسَ  اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿٥٦} 
{اور میں نے جنوں اور انسانوں کو پیدا کیا ہے تاکہ وہ میری عبادت کریں۔}

اللہ تعالی نے انسان کو دو چیزوں کا مرکب بنایا:

●جسم

●روح

🛑 انسانی جسم کو اللہ تعالی نے مٹی سے بنایا اور پھر اسی مٹی سے بنائے گئے جسم کی نشونما اور اس کی پرورش اور تمام تر ضروریات کا بندوبست بھی اللہ تعالی نے مٹی سے ہی کیا۔ اس کی غذا اور خوراک کا بندوبست بھی مٹی سے ہی کیا۔

🛑 روح چونکہ اللہ تعالی نے آسمانوں سے بھیجی ہے تو اس کی نشوونما کیلئے اس کی غذا اور خوراک کا بندوبست بھی اللہ نے آسمان سے ہی کیا جس کو آج ہم شریعت کا نام دیتے ہیں، جس کو آج ہم قرآن اور حدیث کا نام دیتے ہیں، جس کو آج ہم وحی کا نام دیتے ہیں۔

🔻 جس طرح مٹی سے بنائے گئے ایک جسم کی غذا کا خیال نہ کیا جائے اس کی خوراک کا خیال نہ کیا جائے تو یہ جسم بیمار بھی ہو جاتا ہے اسی طرح اگر روح کی غذا کا خیال نہ کیا جائے تو روح بھی بیمار ہو جاتی ہے۔ اور یہ حقیقت ہے کہ انسان کا جسم جتنا بھی توانا، جتنا بھی خوبصورت ہو اگر روح کا رشتہ اس سے ٹوٹ جائے تو اس سے جسم کی کوئی قیمت نہیں رہتی۔

....... اسی لیے یہ بات سمجھ میں آئی کہ اصل قیمت انسان کی روح کے ساتھ ہے نہ کہ جسم کے ساتھ۔

🔻 اور ایک اہم چیز ہمیں سمجھنی چاہیے کہ ہر چیز جہاں سے آئی ہے وہیں اسے واپس پلٹ کر جانا ہے، مٹی سے بنایا گیا جسم ایک نہ ایک دن اسی مٹی کی طرف منتقل ہو جائے گا۔

🔻 لیکن اگر انسان اس جسم کو اللہ کی عبادت میں گزارتا ہے، تو جسم اگرچہ مٹی کی پہلی یا دوسری تہہ میں ہوتا ہے، لیکن روح اللہ رب العزت کی جنت کی مہمان بن جاتی ہے۔

🔻 لیکن اگر روح کی غذا کا خیال نہ کیا گیا، اس کو وحی کی روشنی نہ دی گئی تو جسم اگرچہ مٹی کی پہلی دوسری تہہ میں ہوگا پھر اس روح کو بھی ساتوں زمینوں کے نیچے سجین نامی جیل میں قیدی بنا دیا جائے گا۔ اللہ تعالی کا یہ قانون کتنا ہی خوبصورت ہے.

🔵 آئیے دیکھتے ہیں کہ انسان اللہ سے دور کیوں ہوتا ہے اس کے پیچھے کیا وجہ ہے؟

🔻 {المال والبنون} یہ دو چیزیں جو ہیں یعنی {ذينة الحياة الدنیا} یہ دنیا کی خوبصورتی کی چیزیں ہیں لیکن کبھی کبھار یہ ہوتا ہے کہ یہ دونوں چیزیں انسان کو اللہ سے دور کر دیتی ہیں۔

●ایک انسان اپنے بچے پالنے میں لگا ہوا ہے، اللہ کو بھول گیا ہے۔

●ایک انسان پیسے کمانے میں لگا ہوا ہے، اللہ کو بھول گیا ہے۔

کبھی کبھار ہمارے دوست ہمیں اللہ سے دور کر رہے ہوتے ہیں، تو کبھی کبھار ہماری فیملی ہمیں اللہ سے دور کر رہی ہوتی ہے۔ کبھی کبھار کوئی ہماری چاہت ہوتی ہے، محبت ہوتی ہے، عشق کی کوئی داستان ہوتی ہے، جو ہمیں اللہ سے دور کر رہی ہوتی ہے، کبھی کبھار کوئی ٹی وی شو ہوتا ہے، ڈرامہ ہوتا ہے، ویڈیو گیم ہوتی ہے، فلم ہوتی ہے جس کے اندر ہم اتنا زیادہ محو ہوتے ہیں کہ ہم اللہ کو بھول جاتے ہیں۔

🔻 کبھی کبھار ہماری فیملی کے کچھ جھگڑے ہوتے ہیں جو ہمیں اللہ سے دور کر رہے ہوتے ہیں ہم سارا دن انہیں جھگڑوں میں ملوث ہوکر رہ جاتے ہیں، چاہے وہ ساس بہو کا جھگڑا ہو یا اس نے یہ کہہ دیا یا فلاں نے یہ کہہ دیا۔ ان جھگڑوں میں ہم پھنس جاتے ہیں کہ ہمیں اپنا اصل مقصد سمجھ نہیں آتا اور ہم اس سے دور ہو جاتے ہیں.

🔻 جیسا کہ اللہ تعالی نے سورۃ الذاریات میں ارشاد فرمایا:

⬅️ وَ مَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَ الۡاِنۡسَ  اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿۵۶﴾
'اور میں نے جنوں اور انسانوں کو پیدا کیا ہے تاکہ وہ میری عبادت کریں۔'

🔻 ایک ماں کا بچہ اگر نافرمان ہو اور ماں اسے کہہ دے کہ دفع ہو جاؤ، اور بچہ گھر سے نکل جاتا ہے، ماں پھر بھی دروازہ بند نہیں کرتی، دروازہ کھلا رکھتی ہے رات کو سوتی نہیں ہے کہ شاید میرا بچہ واپس آجائے۔

🔻 اللہ تعالی کو اپنے بندوں کے واپس آنے پر اس سے زیادہ خوشی ہوتی ہے، جیسے ایک بدو جس کا اونٹ کھو گیا ہو اور وہاں وہ اسے واپس مل جائے۔

🔵 ایک بدو ہے جو صحرا کے بیچ میں ہے نہ کوئی سایہ ہے نہ کچھ اور دو منٹ کے لیے لیٹتا ہے جب اٹھتا ہے تو اس کا اونٹ غائب ہو جاتا ہے، آنکھ کھلتی ہے تو پتہ چلتا ہے کہ اونٹ ہے ہی نہیں۔ اونٹ بھی گیا، سارا سامان بھی گیا، وہ صحرا کے بیچ میں مرنے کا انتظار کر رہا تھا پھر کہیں دور سے اس کو اونٹ نظر آیا تو وہ چلا اٹھا کہ میری زندگی میری جان بچ گئی ہے، میری زندگی بچ گئی ہے، کیونکہ اس کا سارا ساز و سامان، اس کا کھانا پینا، سب اسی اونٹ پہ تھا، خوشی کے عالم میں وہ چیخ اٹھتا ہے۔

⬅️ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:

'اللہ تعالی کو اس سے زیادہ خوشی ہوتی ہے کہ جب کوئی بندہ بھولا بھٹکا اللہ سے دور ہو جاتا ہے، پھر وہ اللہ کی طرف واپس آتا ہے تو اللہ تعالی بہت خوش ہوتا ہے'

🔻 دیکھیے اللہ تعالی انسان کے گناہوں کو معاف کرنے کے لیے بھی تیار ہے، اللہ اس کو اپنا محبوب بنانے کے لیے بھی تیار ہے، لیکن انسان ہے کہ اللہ کی طرف واپس آنے کے لیے تیار نہیں ہوتا۔

🔻 انسان کو سوچنا چاہیے کہ اللہ کی مرضی سے پیدا ہو کہ، اللہ کی مرضی سے اس دنیا سے چلے جائیں گے، تو پھر یہ جو بیچ کا حصہ ہے یہ کس کی مرضی سے گزارنا چاہیے۔

🔻 سب سے بڑی key آپ کو بتانے جا رہی ہوں کہ اللہ کے لئے وقت نکالیں، اللہ تعالی آپ کے وقت میں برکت ڈال دیں گے۔

🔻 چاہے آپ کی عبادات ہو، معاملات ہوں، ان پر غور وفکر کریں کہ مجھے دیا گیا وقت اللہ کے لیے کیسا ہے، کتنا ہے اور کس کوالٹی کا ہے۔

🔻 پرسنل عبادات کی اتنی ویلیو ہے جو شاید سوشل کنٹریبیوشن کی نہیں، مثلا ایک وہ چیز ہے جو صرف آپ اپنی ذات کے لیے کر رہے ہیں اور ایک وہ ہے جو عوام الناس کے لئے کر رہے ہیں، دعوت دین کا کام کر رہے ہیں، اللہ کا پیغام پہنچا رہے ہیں، بعض اوقات ہم سمجھتے ہیں کہ دعوت دین کا کام کر رہے ہیں بہت اچھا کام ہے، بعض اوقات انسان شاید لاکھوں روپے خرچ کر دے اللہ کو شاید اس کا لاکھوں خرچ کرنا اتنا پسند نہ آئے لیکن ہو سکتا ہے کہ اس کے دو منٹ جو اس نے ظہر کی نماز میں یا فجر کی نماز میں دیے ہوں اس کی وجہ سے اللہ تعالی کو اتنے پیارے لگے کہ وہ ساری نیکیاں اس پر غالب آجائے کیونکہ آپ نہیں جانتے کہ اللہ کو آپ کی کون سی نیکی پسند آجائے۔

🔻 اللہ تعالی کو دل بہت پسند ہے اور یہ جو احساسات ہیں کہ اللہ تعالی تو میری First priority ہے یہ اللہ کو بہت پسند ہے کہ میں جو کرتا ہوں تیرے لیے ہی کرتا ہوں.

🔻 اور یاد رکھیئے کہ یہ سب چیزیں صرف اللہ کی توفیق سے ہی آتی ہیں، جب تک طلب نہیں ہوگی مانگیں گے نہیں تو نہیں ملے گی۔



⬅️ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَا ؕ وَ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ  لَمَعَ الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ ﴿۶۹﴾٪                 

'اور جنہوں نے ہماری خاطر پوری کوشش کی، انہیں یقیناً ہم ضرور اپنے راستے دِکھائیں گے اور بلاشبہ یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ نیک لوگوں کے ساتھ ہے۔'

🛑 تو آسان سا طریقہ ہے۔۔۔ اللہ تعالیٰ سے سچے دل سے مانگنا شروع کریں، انشاء اللہ اللہ تعالیٰ ضرور دے گا۔

🛑 اللّہ تعالیٰ کا ارشاد ہے:

⬅️ وَ اِذَا سَاَلَکَ عِبَادِیۡ عَنِّیۡ فَاِنِّیۡ قَرِیۡبٌ ؕ اُجِیۡبُ دَعۡوَۃَ الدَّاعِ  اِذَا دَعَانِ  ۙ فَلۡیَسۡتَجِیۡبُوۡا لِیۡ وَ لۡیُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِیۡ  لَعَلَّہُمۡ  یَرۡشُدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸۶﴾

'اور جب میرے بندے آپ سے میرے بارے میں سوال کریں تو یقیناً میں قریب ہی ہوں، میں پکارنے والے کی دُعا قبول کرتا ہوں جب بھی وہ مجھے پکارتا ہے تو لازم ہے کہ وہ میری بات مانیں اور مجھ پر ہی ایمان لائیں تاکہ وہ ہدایت پائیں۔'

Here worship (ʿibādah) does not only mean ritual prayer.
It means living in awareness of God.

Every act can become worship when done with sincerity:
-seeking knowledge
-showing kindness
-acting with justice
-reflecting on creation.

The verse defines life’s purpose as connection with the Creator

Many scholars explained something very interesting about the word يعبدون (yaʿbudūn).

Some early scholars such as Ibn ʿAbbas said that here it can also mean:

“so that they know Me.”
(li-yaʿrifūnī)

Why? Because true worship comes after knowing the Creator.

So the verse carries a deeper flow:

Creation - Knowing Allah - Loving Him - Worshipping Him.

Worship is therefore not just ritual movements.
It is a relationship of awareness.

What “ʿibādah” really means

The Arabic root ʿabd (عبد) means servant, but also someone who humbles themselves out of love and recognition of greatness.

So worship is not only: prayer, fasting, rituals

It is living with awareness of the One who created everything.

This is why scholars say everyday acts can become worship when intention is sincere.
-seeking knowledge
-helping someone
-earning honestly
-reflecting on creation
-being patient with people

When the heart is connected to Allah, ordinary life becomes sacred

"And the foundation? Purpose. As Surah Adh-Dhariyat reminds us, we were created for worship. Meaning every part of our day can become worship with the right intention. Eating, working, helping family, and even sleeping (when done with sincerity) are counted as acts of devotion. Even the mundane tasks can form part of our worship when done with the correct intent and purpose."

This quote from "How to Cultivate Barakah within your mobile and busy life" gave me a wonderful and powerful reminder that with the proper intention and headspace I can be in a constant state of worship and commune with Allah.

The ayahs given are: 
 "Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often."
(Quran 33:21)

"I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me."
(Quran 51:56)

The latter ayah is a great reminder of purpose, but sometimes my youth and immaturity in this realm cause me to be reactionary and buck at times because I think something is trying to control me, but the more I learn and understand about our faith, the more I am able to understand that this isn't about control and only living to worship can look like an amazing and beautiful life. I think sometimes when people (including myself) hear that, we hear that we aren't able to do the things we love, but (as long as not haram) this passage and reading taught me that when properly adhering to our principles we can truly turn nearly any act, properly intended, into an act of praise and worship.

(Also a newish revert so always open for correction or learning from my brothers and sisters.)

JazakAllahu khayran for sharing this. Your reflection feels very sincere, especially the honesty about wrestling with ideas of control versus purpose. That tension you described is something many people experience, whether they are new to Islam or have been Muslim for years.

 Indeed, the essence of our existence is rooted in servanthood to Allah – the hallmark of our existence. Before assuming roles as parents, siblings, children, leaders, or professionals, we are first and foremost His creations, His servants.

What do we mean by this?

It means that we belong to Allah. Before anyone can claim you as a father, mother, brother, son, or husband, it is Allah's sole right to claim you as His created being, His servant, and thus, you belong to Him.

Meaning, even if all human relationships are severed, your connection with Allah remains, and no one would be able to cut it off unless Allah permits it.

It means that since you came from Him, who possesses the most beautiful names and attributes, you are also beautiful and worthwhile. Even if the world degrades or holds you in contempt, Allah is always there to uplift you because you are worthy to Him.

It means that even if we fail as parents, siblings, leaders, or professionals, we can always return to our primary and fundamental identity as servants of Allah to seek refuge, redemption, and rebuild our human relationships better and stronger.

As long as you hold on to the servanthood of Allah, you are worthy and strong, because you belong to the most powerful and beautiful Being in existence.

BarakAllahu feekum for this reflection. My heart was beating faster the more I was reading, reminding myself of the importance of this message and our sole purpose of being a slave of Allah and worshipping Him alone.

The purpose of creation is to worship Allah: 'And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.' (Surah Adh-Dhariyat 51:56)

The purpose of worshipping Allah is to attain piety/Taqwa: 'O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may attain piety.' (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:21)

And the purpose of piety/Taqwa is to achieve success/Falah: 'So fear Allah  (By having Taqwa), O you of understanding, that you may succeed.' (Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:100)

Everything that Allah commands or prohibits is for your own benefit. When trials intensify, remember that obedience to what Allah wants is the secure path to success in this world and the Hereafter.

When Allah Ta'ala addresses a free and empowered person in the Qur'an, He calls him Abd عبد or Ibad عباد .the   One who has intention and authority and is optional.  There is another word on the matter of this which is mentioned in the Qur'an and it is called Abeed (عبید) and it is used only in the context of the Hereafter. That is, there is no will and authority here, only subjugation.
ذٰلِکَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ یَدٰکَ وَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ لَیۡسَ بِظَلَّامٍ   لِّلۡعَبِیۡدِ

According to the Qur'an, the 'only' purpose of our existence is to adore, revere, serve, and stay constantly attached to our Creator (51:56). However, this does not mean we pray, fast, and meditate all day; it means that all the good we do in our daily lives are 'only' for our Creator; therefore, simple acts, such as greeting someone with a smile, holding the door for someone, sharing a meal, etc., becomes acts of worship. Similarly, all our inner/outer struggle against sinful tendencies of the soul/oppression and injustice in the society are also 'only' for our Creator.

I remember listening to a reminder where the Shaykh was comparing the length of the life of Uthman radi allahu anhu to the amount of time he has spent in his grave. The time he has been in his grave surpassed the time he was alive and the time he will spend in his grave will seem like a few moments compared to the life time he will exist in the hereafter. 

In this ayah Allāh sets out our purpose, which is to worship Him. This is the objective of this dunya for both man and Jinn. 

If we are successful in fulfilling this objective, Allāh promises the following: 

هَـٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٍ

˹And it will be said to them,˺ 'This is what you were promised, for whoever ˹constantly˺ turned ˹to Allah˺ and kept up ˹His commandments˺— 

مَّنْ خَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِيبٍ

who were in awe of the Most Compassionate without seeing ˹Him˺, and have come with a heart turning ˹only to Him˺.

ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُلُودِ

Enter it in peace. This is the Day of eternal life!'

لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ

There they will have whatever they desire, and with Us is ˹even˺ more.

Quran (50:32-35). 

Notice how Allah only wants us to worship Him for a very short period in comparison to the everlasting pleasures He has prepared for us.

There are things that are multi-purpose; they can be used for multiple different jobs but the one who creates them, mentions where those things will work the best, yield the best results, work most efficiently and effortlessly and hence last longer. For example, if you buy a small pair of scissors that is made to cut thin paper, it will work best if used only for that purpose. Now you can use it to cut a piece of cloth or even grass, but its efficiency will be greatly reduced, it may not cut the cloth as neatly as it cuts the paper and it may cut the grass perfectly but the job will take several hours and the small scissors may break in the process since it was not made to take up such a heavy task. 
Human beings can do so much; they can invent, create, design, innovate, write, play, sing, dance, teach, draw and the list is too long. But our Creator says in this ayah that He swt created man only to worship Him swt. To connect the analogy above to my point here, a human being will work most effectively and to his true potential while fulfilling the purpose of his creation only while keeping Allah swt as the focal point of each and every action of his. He would be able to do so many things regardless but if Allah swt is not the foundation of his actions,  his passions, his desires, his choices and decisions then his rooh will not last long, his actions will not yield the most beneficial results even in this dunya, his work will not move mountains which he was given the potential to and  his name will not continue once he leaves for final abode. Another point is that worshipping Allah swt is the easiest and most natural thing a human being can do, his arms and legs feel most at ease when they are being used to pray Salah, the whole internal body system works the best and effectively when in the state of fasting or performing the hard work of Hajj. The easiest job for the tongue is the dhikr of its Master, the most enjoyable beat for the heart is in that moment when the heart is full of love for its Creator

I LOVE how you explained this is so beautifully. Made me think about how my teacher was explaining in class today about the contentment we feel when doing things for the sake of Allah. Masha Allah man is created and gifted with so many talents and skills..These however will only benefit him when used for the sake of Allah. This is a reflection that has sparked even a deeper reflection for me. You've directed me to think about what I'm currently engaged in and how they are tied to my worship of Allah. I found this Ramadan really interesting. I say so cos it ended up being a lot different from what I expected. I thought it would be like the Ramadan I was used to pre-COVID but it ended up being pretty similiar to the last one. It however came with a very important lesson and a deeper meaning of this verse for me. One of my favourite things to look forward to during Ramadan is the heightened sense of spirituality,that people sometimes refer to as a 'Spiritual high'. It is something i usually witness and can somehow maintain into Shawwal. Last year was the first time I didn't feel that way, same as this Ramadan. I had moments of having to push strive and just motivate myself more.

It reminded me of a session i attended once and the teacher educated us on our purpose on earth being to worship Allah ,coming into this Ramadan i attended another lecture by an Imam and it came up again...I remember him specifically cautioning us to be careful of worshipping our feelings or worshipping because of the spiritual high we will get. We worship Allah because he has created us to and irrespective of how *we feel* about that or whether we are in the mood or not,it doesn't quite matter cos this is what our entire existence is about,it's our purpose on earth.

So as much as it's great to taste the sweetness of worship, we have to keep going even if we don't get it.

May the Almighty make it easy for us and accept our acts of worship.

That's a great reminder:  We don't worship our feelings, we worship Allah!
