اور ہم سب جانتے ہیں کیوں۔

قربت سے خامیاں نظر آنے لگتی ہیں...
نقوش ابھر آتے ہیں...
اور پھر انسان، اپنی فطرت کے مطابق، فیصلہ سنانے لگتا ہے۔
جسے پسند کرتا تھا، اُسی میں عیب تلاشنے لگتا ہے۔
نگاہوں سے گرا دیتا ہے۔

میں ہمیشہ کہتی ہوں، قریب سے تو چاند میں بھی داغ نظر آتے ہیں۔
اور داغوں سے بدگمانیاں جنم لیتی ہیں۔
بدگمانیاں رشتوں کو کھوکھلا کر دیتی ہیں۔

مگر...
کتنی عجیب بات ہے نا؟

رب تعالیٰ ہماری شہ رگ سے بھی زیادہ قریب ہے۔
وہ خالق ہے—اسے ہماری ہر کمی کا علم ہے۔
پھر بھی...
نہ اُس کی محبت کم ہوتی ہے،
نہ اُس کی رحمت تھمتی ہے۔

الودود کا رشتہ ایک مثال ہے:
قربت کے باوجود، بے پناہ محبت۔
کمزوریوں کے باوجود، دائمی رحمت۔

اور ایک بات اور سنو...
شہ رگ سے قریب ہونے کے باوجود،
وہ عرش پر مستوی ہے۔
ایک ایسی دوری…
جو باقی ہر رشتے سے زیادہ ہے۔

لیکن نہ وہ قربت،
نہ وہ دوری…
کبھی اُس کی محبت کو کم کر سکتی ہے۔

ہم بدلتے ہیں،
لیکن ہمارا رب — الرحمٰن — کبھی نہیں بدلتا۔

اللہ'۔ '
اس نام کہ ساتھ جو ہمارے احساسات جڑے ہیں اور جو خیالات ذہن میں آتے ہیں۔
 وہ ہیں 'ایک عظیم ہستی' ہمارا خالق ' ہمارا پروردگار'  لیکن ہم نے کبھی کوشش ہی نہیں کی اس ایک لفظ کی مٹھاس اس کی چاشنی کو محسوس کرنے کی۔
 بچپن میں ایک کتاب پڑھی تھی مفتی ممتاز صاحب کی
'تلاش اللہ' 
کے نام سے اس بات میں کوٸی شک نہیں کہ وہ ایک اچھی کتاب ہے۔
 جس میں بہت سی حقیقتوں سے پردہ اٹھایا گیا ہے۔
 اور بہت ہلکے پھلکے انداز میں بہت کچھ سمجھایا بھی گیا ہے۔
 لیکن پھر بھی اسے پڑھ کر ایک بات میرے ذہن میں گردش کرتی رہی کہ کیا واقعی ہی اللہ تعالی کو تلاش کرنے کی ضرورت محسوس ہوتی ہے۔
 اور پھر لوگوں سے ایک ہی جواب ملا کہ وہ تو شہہ رگ سے بھی قریب ہے۔
 لیکن کیسے؟؟؟؟
 کیسے ہم اسے ڈھونڈیں؟؟؟؟
 شہہ رگ  میں جھانکنا بھی تو آسان نہیں اور پھر میرے پیارے اللہ نے ہی میری اس الجھی گتھی کو سلجھا دیا۔
کہ واقعی ہی وہ شہہ رگ سے بھی قریب تر ہے۔۔۔۔
 مجھے لگتا تھا جس نے یہ کہا ہوگا کہ وہ شہہ رگ سے قریب ہے تو وہ خود بھی اللہ تعالی سے بہت قریب ہوگا۔لیکن جب اس پاک ذات نے ہدایت کی راہ دکھائی تو قرآن مجید پڑھنے سے پتا چلا کہ یہ کسی شخص کا نہیں بلکہ خود اسی کا قول مبارک ہے۔
 ساٸنس کہتی ہے  ہماری آواز گلے میں موجود ووکل کارڈز کی وجہ سے پیدا ہوتی ہے۔
 اور گلے کہ اسی حصےکو عرف عام میں شہہ رگ کہا جاتا ہے۔
 وہ تو قریب ہے اسے تلاش کرنے کی ضرورت نہیں ہوتی بلکہ پکارنے کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔
 صرف ایک مرتبہ ایک مرتبہ اپنے ووکل کارڈز کو ہلکی سی جنبش دینے کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے ہلکی سی ایسی کہ محسوس بھی نا ہو پاۓ۔
 تو پھر اسے دل کے کانوں سے سنٸیے گا آپکا روم روم پکار اٹھے گا کہ بول میرے پیارے بندے تو کیا کہتا ہے؟؟؟میں تیرا رب ہوں۔ تیری ہر دعا کو قبول کرنے والا۔ تجھے سب سے زیادہ پیار کرنےوالا۔ کوٸی نہیں ہے جو تمہیں میری طرح محبت کر سکے۔اس ایک لفظ 'اللہ تعالیٰ ' میں مٹھاس شہد کی نہروں کو بھی مات دیتی ہے۔ اسے پہچان کر اسکا نام پکارنے سے دل کی بستی جھوم جھوم اٹھتی ہے۔دیے کی سی روشنی چہار اطراف پھیلنے لگتی ہے۔
اور پھر دل کی بستی کو اک نیا رنگ بہار ملتا ہے۔بنجر ذمینیں آباد ہوتی ہیں۔ اس بستی کا کونا کونا اس پاک ذات کہ عشق سے مہکنے لگتا ہے۔ جہاں خزاٶں کا دور دور تک کوٸ واسطہ نہیں ہوتا ۔ یہاں کہ پھول اس فانی دنیا کہ بسنے والوں کو بھی اپنی خوشبو سے معطر کرنے لگتےہیں۔
بات ہوتی ہے یقین کی کیونکہ ایمان کا پودہ یقین کے بیج سے ہی تناور درخت بنتا ہے۔
تو پھر ایک مرتبہ یقین کی گہراٸیوں سے اسے پکار دیکھیں۔اس کی چاشنی سے آپکی روح ضرور معطر ہوگی۔
صرف ایک مرتبہ اللہ تعالٰی کہنے سے بار بار زبان اسی  ایک ہی نام کو دہرانے پر بضد ہو جاۓ گی۔
اللہ اللہ اللہ اللہ ہوو۔۔۔۔۔۔

Tafshala Chheena Jazakallahu khairan.. itni khoobsurat dua k liye ❤️

We are always standing at the edge of something. Life keeps shifting, urging us to step into new spaces. And yet, even when our hearts are ripe for change, fear clings to what is familiar. The comfort of the familiar feels safer than the uncertainty of what lies ahead.

But when faith becomes the tether, the edge is no longer a place of ending—it becomes a place of meeting. When the world feels like it is crumbling beneath us, when we fear falling into the unknown, we remember that Allah’s promise never falters. What feels like free-fall is not chaos; in truth, it is surrender into His care.

We cling to old versions of ourselves, afraid of who we might be without them. Yet tawakkul is the courage to loosen that grip, to let the branch go, trusting that He replaces whatever is left for His sake with what is better.

If you find yourself trembling at the edge, unsure of what’s ahead, know that vulnerability is not weakness. It is the space where reliance is born and where trust begins to bloom. Faith steadies what wavers, lights what is hidden, and anchors what shakes.

You do not need to see the whole path to take the next step. You need only trust the One who laid it.

Faith does not remove the unknown, but it transforms it. Fear becomes courage. Uncertainty become nearness. And at every edge, in every unseen descent, in every trembling leap — you are not alone. Allah is already there.

وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ 
and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein. (50:16)

I was recently making this Dua of Musa (a) before speaking to someone and paused for a bit to reflect on how I never need to worry like this when speaking to my Lord. When speaking to people, we have to be cautious and mindful of our words, carefully weighing how they will be perceived. I often find myself typing out a message, backspacing it and rewriting the whole thing. Or sending it and then deleting it out of a concern of being misunderstood, offensive, a nuisance, or just saying too much. Or I say something and then find myself filled with regret later. But there's this real comfort in speaking to Allah, knowing that He will never misunderstand me and never get tired of listening. Even if my words come out jumbled and messy, He will still understand what I meant by them, even better than I understand them myself. The one who is closer to me than my jugular vein is surely closer to me than my vocal chords. He understands my subconscious thoughts and the confused feelings of my heart better than I understand them myself. Alhamdullilah for a Lord and Cherisher who is always listening, always responsive, never gets tired, and always understands ❤️

I personally will add another verse in the do'a that is 20:25-29. The do'a is common to all of us in seeking 'ilmu from pre-school until now and ever. Insya-Allah. 

Yesterday, my family walked away unharmed from a harrowing accident—Alhamdulillah. Ever since, this verse from surah Qaaf  has been echoing within me, filling my heart with awe. SubhanAllah, their survival feels nothing short of miraculous. The car was severely damaged, yet they emerged safely.

And then there was something even more striking. In a totally uninhabited and remote area, a couple stopped to help—and remarkably, both were medical professionals. One of them was even a cardiac surgeon. My brother, who is a cardiac patient and had recently undergone angiography, needed urgent care. In that critical moment, Allah sent exactly the help they needed. These doctors immediately provided them cardiac care and called the teams for further evaluation.

Indeed life and death comes from Him but when it's not destined this is how He remindes us of His immense mercy and care —how He orchestrates relief in ways we could never imagine. His closeness is not just a concept; it is a shield. Before harm can even reach us, He is already there, protecting. His care is immediate, and His protection is constant.

In fact when Allah help reach the every inches convert into meters.

We often search far for meaning.
yet the Qur’an reminds us that the truth is already near —

near in the signs of the world,

near in the whispers of the heart.

and nearer to us
than our own jugular vein.

Some time ago, I came across a heartbreaking video from a non-Muslim influencer where she opened up about the heartache she was left following the loss of two of her young children, and how she often thinks about them and the imprint they left on her heart. She talks about how much it means to her when now, years later, friends make small, heartfelt efforts to show her they’re thinking of her loss too and though they may never fully understand, try to show her they see her struggles and the depth of her pain. In the comments of that video, there’s an outpouring of empathy and love and support for her and to many of them, she replies with heartfelt gratitude, clearly moved by the way the comments make her feel seen and loved and cared for, telling some of them that it felt like their words “holding her” through the pain. The way she was so deeply moved by their very simple but genuine comments - which would only offer momentary relief - made me wish I could tell her that the Creator of this universe and every being within it, who tells us He is Al-Walee - the best protector and friend any of us can ever have - and Al Jabbar - the one who can mend our brokenness - would understand and validate her pain in ways no human ever could. He understands its depth in the way no one else does. And He promises no amount of pain endured with patience is ever unnoticed or forgotten by Him; even after He heals our brokenness and we find ourselves moving on by His grace, the unimaginable rewards He stores for us remain. 

And it made me think about how all us of have that same desire in our moments of pain — to be seen, have our pain validated, to have someone who shows us they understand what we’re going through and shows they will care and will stand by us through it all. And it is Allah, Al Latif (the most subtle), who sometimes sends us people in our lives who offer us just that. That friend who’s there for you on your worst days. That Islamic reminder you come across that feels like it came at exactly the moment you needed it. That check-in message from a friend that comes when you’ve been waiting for someone to speak to. Our hearts melt at these moments, overwhelmed by the consideration of these people, but we sometimes forget to direct our appreciation and reliance towards the One (SWT) who carefully orchestrated those moments of relief in the ways He knew we needed. And the comfort people can offer us will always be imperfect and incomplete compared to the relief we will find with Allah (SWT.) When we just want someone to make us feel seen in our pain, Allah (SWT) shows us that He knows the pain that lurks in every crevice of our heart that we may never speak about. And that with any of that pain comes unimaginable reward and that He will never let any patience we endure through hardship go to waste. And that only He can relieve us of it. And that even when others forget or tire or move on from being able to be fully present with us in our moments of difficulty, He, Al-Walee, the best friend and supporter we ever have, never does. 

May we always take our pain to Him, remember that He is the ultimate source of relief and know that we will never find anyone who can mend us in the ways that He can  

Grief isn’t always relating to physical death; we can also mourn the end of relationships, identities, or dreams.

Mourning is love that feels like it has nowhere to go.
Love that needs to be redirected back to the Source, Al-Wadood.

If you’ve gone through a divorce, you didn’t just lose a marriage, you lost the future you once envisioned with that person.
If you’ve let go of an old identity for the sake of Allah ﷻ, you might grieve the version of yourself you once believed in.
If you’ve sacrificed a dream or passion because it displeases Allah ﷻ, you may feel like a part of you is missing.

These feelings are normal and expected.
'Never will you attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love.' (3:92)

Loss is heavy. Its weight creates an empty space that you then have to choose what you’ll fill it with: resentment, regret, hopelessness, desires, and distractions, or tawakkul, ibadah, ilm, shukr, tawbah, and dhikr.

These losses and their effects can be a bridge to Allah ﷻ or a barrier.
The barriers we have between us and Allah ﷻ create friction in our deen and add more weight to the hardships we already face. Allah ﷻ is always near (50:16), but we perceive Him to be further because of these points of resistance.

When we actively work to remove them, we begin to feel a natural flow in our deen that lightens our burdens, just as Allah ﷻ says He intends for us.
'Allah intends to lighten your burdens, for mankind was created weak.' (4:28)

Embracing the changes that loss brings means consenting to Allah’s disposal of your affairs and accepting His wisdom as being entirely whole and rooted in love.
Accepting the plot twists of life without bracing for what comes next allows for wholesome love, fresh starts, and a priceless opportunity for a deeper connection with Allah ﷻ.

This starts with thinking well of Allah ﷻ and His intentions for you.
If Allah ﷻ allowed it, then there is khair in it, whether in what it is or in what will come from it.

With every loss, there’s a greater gain.
With every end, there’s a new beginning.

Trust Him with your future.
With your hopes and your tears.
You may feel lonely in your grief at times, but you are never alone.
You are constantly in the presence of the One who loves you, wants the best for you, and gives without limits.

'Indeed, Allah provides for whom He wills without account.' (3:37)

All the authors of the world may never know who reads their books. But those who engage with the Qur’an are remembered by Allah. He knows His reader—and He never forgets. Not only does He know you, He sees you, hears you, and understands you like no one else can.

And we all know why.

Closeness reveals flaws.
The more we draw near, the clearer the imperfections become.
And it is in human nature—
To judge what once felt pure.
To begin seeing cracks where once there was light.
To quietly bring down someone we once admired.

I often say: even the moon shows its scars up close.
And when flaws surface, suspicions follow.
Suspicion poisons love.
It hollows the beauty of connection.

But isn't it strange?

Our Lord is closer to us than our jugular vein.
He is the Creator—He knows every fault, every hidden flaw.
Yet still…
His love never wanes.
His mercy never halts.

Al-Wadood — the Most Loving — sets a divine example of love or more specifically the genuine 'true love'.
Despite knowing us fully, He never turns away.
Despite all our faults, His compassion remains.

And here’s something else to ponder…

Even though He is closer than our vein,
He is also above the Throne.
A distance greater than any other.
Yet neither nearness…
Nor distance…
Lessens His love.

We change.
But our Lord—Ar-Rahman—never changes.

May Al-Wadood increase us in our love for Him.
