كلا بل لا تكرمون اليتيم ١٧
كَلَّا ۖ بَل لَّا تُكْرِمُونَ ٱلْيَتِيمَ ١٧

ایسا ہرگز نہیں ہے ! ایسا ہرگز نہیں بلکہ تم لوگ یتیم کی عزت نہیں کرتے۔

لَا تُكۡرِمُونَ - وَلَا تَحَاضُّونَ - وَتَأۡكُلُونَ - وَتُحِبُّونَ
tukrimūna - taḥāḍḍūna - wa-taʾkulūna - wa-tuḥibbūna
لَا تُكۡرِمُونَ - وَلَا تَحُضُّونَ - وَتَأۡكُلُونَ - وَتُحِبُّونَ
tukrimūna - taḥuḍḍūna - wa-taʾkulūna - wa-tuḥibbūna
“you (pl.) do not honour orphans...”
In these readings, the four verbs in these ayahs are in the second person, addressing the unbelievers.
لَا يُكۡرِمُونَ - وَلَا يَحُضُّونَ - وَيَأۡكُلُونَ - وَيُحِبُّونَ
yukrimūna - yaḥuḍḍūna - wa-yaʾkulūna - wa-yuḥibbūna
“they do not honour orphans...”
