بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

 اس سورۃ کی ابتدا لفظ 'ویل' سے ہوئی ہے جس کا عمومی ترجمہ 'خرابی' ملتا ہے۔ اگر عربی زبان کی روح سے دیکھا جائے تو سنجیدگی کااحساس ہوتا ہے۔ نکرہ اسم کا استعمال شدت کو ظاہر کرتاہے – جیسے کہ کسی انسان پر انتہائی غصّہ اور افسوس ہو۔ 'ویل' کو سنتے ساتھ ہی خوف کی کیفیت طاری ہوتی ہے اور ذہن میں سوال پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ کونسی خصوصیات ہیں جن کی وجہ سے انسان اللہ تعالیٰ کے اتنے غضب کا حقدار ہوتا ہے۔ اس آیت کے مطابق لوگوں کا دل دکھانا - چغلی سے، مذاق اڑا کر، تہمت باندھ کر، گالی نکال کر، کڑوے الفاظ سے، خامیاں ڈھونڈ کر، طنز کر کے، تنقید سے، چہرے کے تاثرات سے، افواہیں پھیلا کر اور لسٹ لمبی ہے۔  

عبداللہ ابن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو خانہ کعبہ کا طواف کرتے دیکھا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرما رہے تھے: 
'تو کتنا اچھا ہے، تیری خوشبو کتنی اچھی ہے، تو کتنا بڑے رتبہ والاہے اور تیری حرمت کتنی عظیم ہے، لیکن قسم اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں محمد کی جان ہے ، مومن کی حرمت اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک تجھ سے بھی زیادہ ہے، اس لیے ہمیں مومن کے ساتھ حسن ظن رکھنا چاہیے'

کیاہم اپنے بہن بھائیوں کی حرمت کو کعبہ کی حرمت سے بڑھ کر دیکھتے ہیں؟ یونیورسٹی، سفر، نوکری، گھر - غرض ہر جگہ ہم نے کسی نہ کسی کو گفتگو کا عنوان بنایا ہوتا ہے۔ ہمارا شمار عیب چھپانے والوں میں ہے یا ٹٹول ٹٹول کر نکالنے والوں میں۔

نصیحت: 
کوشش کریں کہ آپ کی وجہ سے کسی کا دل نہ دکھے۔ پہلی بات ذہن میں رکھنی ہے کہ میں اللہ کا عبد ہوں اور یہ اس کا حکم ہے - میں مسلمان ہوں اور میرا کام اس کے حکم پر سر جھکانا ہے۔ اور دوسری یہ کہ وہ میرے بہن بھائی ہیں اور اللہ کی رضا کی خاطر مجھے ان سے محبت ہے۔ اپنا فوکس اللہ پر رکھیں زندگی آسان ہو جائے گی ۔

اللہ ہمیں اپنے الفاظ اور اعمال میں محتاط رہنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے تاکہ ہم دوسروں کے دل نہ دکھائیں اور حسن ظن کے ساتھ زندگی گزاریں۔ جزاک اللہ خیر، قرآن سے جڑنے اور اپنی قیمتی سوچ کو ہمارے ساتھ بانٹنے کے لیے! اللہ آپ کے علم و تدبر میں برکت عطا فرمائے۔



’’بڑی خرابی ہے ہر اُس شخص کے لیے جو لوگوں کے عیب ُچنتا رہتا ہے اور طعنے دیتا رہتا ہے۔‘‘
طعنہ عربی میں کہتے ہیں نیزے کو جس کی چبھن سے اگلے کو تکلیف ہو،کسی کی ذات میں کیڑے نکالنا طعن کرنا ہے اسی طرح طنز کرنا بھی اسی زمرے میں آتا ہے اور آج کل یہ گفتگو بہت عام ہے بات شروع ہی طنز یا طعنے سے ہوتی ہے جس سے اگلے کو پہلے ہی الفاظ کی مار مار دیتے ہیں اس طرح مخالف کی دل آزاری ہوتی ہے اور کسی کا دل دکھا کر آپ اپنی آخرت تباہ کر لیتے ہیں اس لیے اللہ تعالی نے ایسی گفتگو سے منع فرمایا ہے۔ کبھی سوچا ہے کہ ہم کتنی مشکل سے نمازیں پڑھتے ہیں اور اگر وہ ضائع ہو جائیں اس وجہ سے کہ آپکی وجہ سے کسی کا دل دُکھا تھا۔ کیا آپ اپنی نیکیوں کو اس طرح ضائع ہوتے دیکھ سکتے ہیں؟
ہمارے معاشرے میں دوسری اخلاقی برائی غیبت ہے جو اکثر خواتین میں بہت عام ہے۔
اثکر یہ ہوتا ہے کہ جب کوئی ہمارا دل دکھاتا ہے تو ہم برداشت نہیں کر پاتے ان الفاظ کا وزن۔ تو ہم جلد از جلد کسی سے share کر کے اپنا دل ہلکا کرنا چاہتے ہیں ۔ تو  اصل میں دل تو ہلکا ہو جاتا ہی لیکن آپ کے اپنے گناہوں میں اضافہ ہوتا ہے۔ اب دیکھیں نا جس کی برائی آپ کر رہے ہیں اس کے گناہ تو آپ کم کرتے ہیں اور اپنے گناہوں میں اضافہ ۔۔۔۔ بھلا یہ کیا بات ہوئی کہ ایک بندہ آپکا دل دکھائے آپ کو اپنی باتوں سے ہرٹ کرے اور آپ الٹا اسی کے گناہ بخشوایں؟ دونوں طرف وہ ( دل دکھانے والا) ہی فائدے میں رہے۔۔۔کیا یہ گھاٹے کا سودا نہیں ؟
'اللّٰہ نے ہم سب کو ایک دوسرے کے لیے آزمائش بنایا ہے تاکہ وہ دیکھے کہ ہم غیبت کرتے ہیں یا صبر۔' کیونکہ صبر واقعی مشکل ہے تو میرے پاس اسکا آسان حل ہے کہ جب آپ غیبت کرنا چاہیں ( اپنا دل ہلکا کرنا چاہیں) تو اللہ تعالیٰ سے بات کریں کہ اللّٰہ جی مجھے فلاں شخص نے ہرٹ کیا ہے مجھ سے صبر نہیں ہو رہا۔ میں اپنا معاملہ آپ کے سپرد کرتا ہوں میرے اللّٰہ ۔۔
بس پھر دیکھیں کیسے اللّٰہ پاک آپکو صبر بھی دیں گے اور اس شخص سے انتقام بھی لیں گے۔ اور اللّٰہ سے بہتر بھلا کون انتقام لے سکتا۔۔۔۔؟

Allah hume inn gunahon se bache ko hum karte hain aur hume pata bhi nhi chalte 💔

Money and other forms of wealth are all temporary, we should become more aware that as humans our bodies will deteriorate. Instead of worrying about it, find every moment to thank Allah (swt) for allowing us to take every breath with ease. The acts of bending down for ruku and sujood, without any difficulty is a massive blessing in itself- focus on counting that rather than numbers on a payslip/in a bank account.
We should be responsible for ensuring we have enough for our funerals/ taking care of our families for the event of our return to the Almighty, but we should be careful not to obsess.

Your reflection on the temporary nature of wealth and the importance of gratitude for the blessings of physical abilities, like performing ruku and sujood without difficulty, is truly profound. It's a powerful reminder to shift our focus from material wealth to appreciating the simple yet significant blessings bestowed upon us by Allah. Your insight on being responsible for preparing for the afterlife while avoiding obsession with worldly possessions is a valuable lesson for all of us. In the past, whenever I used to listen to this powerful verse, the image that would come to my mind was an image of a person who is never mindful of what he or she says. A person who loosely slanders, backbites, and defames. Today, I have learned  this verse from the standpoint of a داعي. A داعي can also fall prey to Shaitan. The righteous deed of dawah will lose its essence and spirit if people are not approached with the correct method, meaning kind words, openness of the heart, and compassion. A true believer is هيِّن and ليِّن. Words have the power to heal and hurt; therefore a good داعي needs to be extra careful with their word choice. When we truly wish well for people around us, when our heart is filled with اخلاص, and when our goal is وجه الله, how can we be disrespectful towards fellow believers? A sincere  preacher of Allah’s message will never be condescending towards any of his audience.
The lesson I derived for myself first and foremost, and also for fellow believers is قولو للناس حسنًا. Say good to people and say good about people.
Let us all remind  ourselves of the sunnah of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) and how he used to address people. He treated staunch enemies with utmost kindness.
May Allah guide us and guide through us.

In the Name of Allaah the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate,

This important Surah contains descriptions of serious crimes of ridiculing, slandering, backbiting, tarnishing a person’s reputation,  hoarding wealth (not giving zakat) and hurting the hearts of others because of internal arrogance. 

When communication has increased amongst people and we encounter even more people largely through the use of social media we must understand the severity of these crimes that we overlook. Much of us pray, fast and conduct virtuous acts and uphold the rights of Allaah, yet do we uphold the rights of His people?

Are we careful with our words and acts? As an employer to our employees? As a parent to our children?  To those who have less understanding and knowledge? and likewise before our scholars? Our  negative words and acts can have devastating affects amongst the people in general as well as the people we claim to love. 

Allah knows how every human heart is fragile, physically and metaphorically speaking. The human heart is covered and protected by large bones in our rib cage. Even jokes can deeply hurt a person, even if it is in jest. If we cannot help heal hearts, we should not be people who break hearts with having arrogance of any kind to belittle others.  Truly kind words goes such a long way. Kindness with words and acts holds highly in Islam:

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'Verily, Allah is gentle and He loves gentleness. He grants reward for gentleness what is not given for harshness.'

To be truly humble is evident in our worship, but also real humility is evident in our dealings with people and how we use our wealth. We must treat every single person with respect and we certainly never tarnish a person’s honour even if it is the truth.  Our hijab should not give us the authority to disdain the one who does not wear hijab, the regular attendees at the masjid should not make the one who rarely comes to the masjid feel unwelcome. We encourage and we do not discourage and isolate others. 

Abu Shurayh reported: He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, tell me something that will guarantee Paradise for me.' The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'Speak kind words, offer peace, and feed the hungry.'

We need to understand this Surah, for understanding it will lead to in sha Allah developing better relationships especially those of us who have been granted, power, authority and influence over others. It will save us from hurting others both intentionally and unintentionally diverting us from finding faults in others and focusing upon remedying our own shortcomings.

The crimes are incredibly serious and therefore so will be the punishment(s). An important Surah to help us rectify our own hearts and conduct.
