بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم 
اب تک کا یہ سفر دل کو ایک نئی نظر دے رہا ہے… پہلے ہم نے اللہ کی بے حد وسیع رحمت کو محسوس کیا، پھر اس کی قربت کو، اور پھر اس کی کامل بادشاہی کو۔ اب ہم ایک ایسے نام کی طرف بڑھتے ہیں جو دل کو جھنجھوڑ بھی دیتا ہے اور پاک بھی کرتا ہے…
یہ نام ہے:
ٱلْقُدُّوس — Al-Quddus (نہایت پاک، ہر عیب سے بالکل منزہ)
القدوس کا مادہ عربی زبان میں "ق د س" (قاف، دال، سین) ہے یہ مادہ درج ذیل معانی دیتا ہے:
پاک ہونا
نقص اور عیب سے منزہ ہونا
برکت والا ہونا
تقدیس کرنا (پاک قرار دینا)
جب ہم اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے القدوس کا لفظ استعمال کرتے ہیں تو اس کا مطلب ہوتا ہے وہ ذات جو ہر قسم کے عیب، نقص، کمزوری اور برائی سے مکمل طور پر پاک ہے۔
یعنی اللہ تعالیٰ کی ذات میں کوئی کمی نہیں،کوئی غلطی، ظلم یا کمزوری نہیں،وہ ہر لحاظ سے کامل اور پاک ہے۔

جب ہم “القدوس” کہتے ہیں، تو ہم دراصل یہ اقرار کر رہے ہوتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر اس چیز سے پاک ہے جو نقص، کمزوری یا عیب ہو سکتی ہے۔ انسان کا ذہن محدود ہے، اور ہم اکثر اللہ کو بھی اپنی طرح سمجھنے کی غلطی کر بیٹھتے ہیں  جیسے انسان غصہ کرتا ہے، تھک جاتا ہے، بھول جاتا ہے، یا کسی چیز کا محتاج ہوتا ہے۔
لیکن “القدوس” ہمیں یہ سکھاتا ہے کہ اللہ ان سب چیزوں سے بالکل بلند اور پاک ہے۔
نہ اسے تھکن ہوتی ہے، نہ اسے نیند آتی ہے، نہ وہ بھولتا ہے، نہ اس کے فیصلوں میں کوئی غلطی ہو سکتی ہے۔
قرآن میں آتا ہے:
“يُسَبِّحُ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ…”
یعنی زمین و آسمان کی ہر چیز اللہ کی تسبیح بیان کر رہی ہے، جو بادشاہ ہے، جو پاک ہے۔
یہ آیت ہمیں ایک بہت خوبصورت منظر دکھاتی ہے…
کہ پوری کائنات، اپنے اپنے انداز میں، اللہ کی پاکیزگی کو مان رہی ہے۔ درخت، ہوا، پرندے، ستارے  سب گواہی دے رہے ہیں کہ ہمارا رب ہر نقص سے پاک ہے۔
“القدوس” کا ایک گہرا اثر یہ ہے کہ یہ ہمارے دل کے شکوک اور غلط فہمیوں کو صاف کرتا ہے۔
بعض اوقات زندگی میں ایسے حالات آتے ہیں جب انسان کے دل میں سوال پیدا ہوتے ہیں:
“میرے ساتھ ہی ایسا کیوں ہوا؟”
“کیا یہ انصاف ہے؟”
ایسے لمحوں میں اگر “القدوس” کا شعور ہو، تو انسان رک جاتا ہے… اور اپنے دل سے کہتا ہے:
“میرا رب پاک ہے… اس کے فیصلے میں کوئی ظلم نہیں ہو سکتا، چاہے میں سمجھ نہ پاؤں۔”
یہ نام ہمیں یہ بھی سکھاتا ہے کہ اللہ کی ذات صرف طاقتور یا مہربان ہی نہیں، بلکہ مکمل طور پر پاک اور کامل ہے۔ اس کی رحمت میں بھی کوئی کمی نہیں، اس کے فیصلوں میں بھی کوئی خامی نہیں، اور اس کی حکمت میں بھی کوئی نقص نہیں۔
جب بندہ اس حقیقت کو مان لیتا ہے، تو اس کے اندر ایک گہرا سکون آتا ہے۔ وہ ہر حال میں اللہ کے بارے میں اچھا گمان رکھنے لگتا ہے، حتیٰ کہ مشکل حالات میں بھی۔
“القدوس” کا ایک اور خوبصورت اثر یہ ہے کہ یہ ہمیں خود اپنی زندگی کو بھی پاک کرنے کی دعوت دیتا ہے۔
جب ہمارا رب پاک ہے، تو ہمیں بھی اپنی نیتوں کو پاک کرنا چاہیے، اپنے دل کو حسد، بغض اور کینہ سے صاف کرنا چاہیے، اپنی زبان کو جھوٹ اور سختی سے بچانا چاہیے۔
اللہ کے اس پیارے نام کو سمجھنا ایک دعوت ہے…
دل کو صاف کرنے کی، نیت کو خالص کرنے کی، اور زندگی کو اللہ کے قریب کرنے کی۔
آپ کبھی اپنے دل میں جھانک کر دیکھیں…
کبھی وہاں حسد ہوتا ہے، کبھی غصہ، کبھی کسی کے لیے سختی…
ایسے میں آہستہ سے کہیں:
“یا قدوس…”
اور اللہ سے دعا کریں:
“یا اللہ، جیسے آپ ہر عیب سے پاک ہیں، ویسے ہی میرے دل کو بھی ہر برائی سے پاک کر دیں۔”
یہ ایک بہت نرم مگر طاقتور دعا ہے… کیونکہ جب دل صاف ہو جاتا ہے، تو انسان اللہ کے قریب ہو جاتا ہے، اور اس کی زندگی میں ایک عجیب سی روشنی آ جاتی ہے۔

جب بندہ "القدوس" کو سمجھتا ہے تو وہ یہ سیکھتا ہے کہ اصل پاکیزگی صرف اللہ کی ہے ہمیں بھی اپنے دل، نیت اور عمل کو پاک کرنے کی کوشش کرنی چاہیے،گناہوں، حسد، کینہ سے خود کو صاف کرنا "تقدیس" کی ایک جھلک ہے

آج کا ایک لمحہ اپنے لیے رکھیں…
خاموشی سے بیٹھیں، اپنے دل کے اندر جھانکیں، اور دیکھیں کہ وہاں کون سی چیزیں ایسی ہیں جو آپ کو اندر سے بے چین کرتی ہیں۔ پھر اللہ سے بات کریں، اس یقین کے ساتھ کہ وہ آپ کے دل کو بھی پاک کر سکتا ہے۔
آخر میں اپنے دل سے یہ سوال کریں:
کیا میں اللہ کے فیصلوں کے بارے میں ہمیشہ اچھا گمان رکھتی ہوں، یا کبھی میرے دل میں شکوک آ جاتے ہیں؟
کیونکہ “القدوس” ہمیں یہی سکھاتا ہے…
کہ اللہ کی ذات پاک ہے، اس کا ہر فیصلہ پاک ہے، اور اس کی طرف سے آنے والی ہر چیز میں کوئی نہ کوئی حکمت ضرور ہے… چاہے ہم اسے فوراً نہ سمجھ سکیں

In Surah Al-Jum'ah (The Congregation), specifically in verse 1, the word 'Al-Malik' appears as one of the attributes of Allah. The verse is as follows:

سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ

'Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.'

In this context, 'Al-Malik' (الْمَلِكِ) translates to 'The Sovereign' or 'The King.' It signifies Allah's supreme authority and dominion over all creation. Allah is depicted as the ultimate ruler and owner of everything in existence, highlighting His absolute power, control, and governance (rule) over the universe. The term emphasizes His unmatched sovereignty and leadership, asserting that all things are under His command and that He is the source of all laws and order in the cosmos.

Notice that the ultimate ownership, rule, and control rest with none other than Allah. While governments may govern, their control is limited; they cannot fully prevent crime. Similarly, we may possess our bodies, but we cannot completely control them, as seen with conditions like high cholesterol or diabetes. True power does not need to be flaunted. The apparent inability of governments to assert total control highlights their inherent weaknesses. In the same way, God does not need to be visible to manifest His might.

'PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS'.
I remember this being a catch phrase in social media a few years ago. 

Perfection is only with Allah.
Only Allah is Perfect in His Perfection.

In the Quran, 7 Surahs begin with declaring and attesting Allah's Perfection.
My 2021 Quran study included 6 of the 7 Surah Musabbihaat. 

I glorify Allah as I traversed fleeting green pastures and am reminded of my fleeting worldly life (al 'Alaa)
I glorify Allah as I learn of Allah's Perfect Justice in the endings of the believers and the disbelievers (at Taghabun)
I glorify Allah as I saw that some of the Blessed Companions got distracted with worldly life and got admonished (al Jumu'a)
I glorify Allah as I felt the strength of being part of the ummah standing in solid lines (al Saff)
I glorify Allah as I silently celebrated the expulsion of the betraying Jews (al Hashr)
I glorify Allah as I got terrified by the 'wall' separating the believers from the disbelievers (al Hadid).

I look forward to complete the 7 when I 'travel' to Al Aqsa in Surat al-Isra', soon, in sha Allah!

Quddūs is an aggrandizement of the root word q-d-s (ق-د-س), and can mean ‘pure’, ‘holy’ or ‘blessed’. It tells us that God Almighty is pure from any defect and purified from anything blameworthy. Another meaning of Quddūs is that God Almighty purifies the hearts and souls of His worshippers, but what God Almighty Himself is purified from may be something that is necessary for humans. A person who does not sleep is an insomniac and most likely needs treatment. With God Almighty, His non-sleep shows His self-sufficiency. And according to Imam Al-Qurtubi, the name Al-Quddūs also describes the One who is glorified and revered by the angels. As Ibn Al-Qayyim reminds us, Al-Quddūs is too pure and holy to ever act with oppression. This is important to keep in mind and comprehend, so that we do not attribute blameworthy human attributes to God Almighty. Sheikh Abdulrazzaq Al-Badr shows that the Name Al-Quddūs comes with the Name Al-Malik in the Qur’an, which means the Sovereign or King. When people hear that God is King, that could be a neutral attribute, or it could even be a negative one if they have had bad experiences with oppressive kings. Hence, God Almighty tells us that He is 'Al-Malik Al-Quddūs', reminding us not to get confused. He is the King, but He is Pure and so He acts with ultimate justice. There is no oppression under Him.
