ومن كل شيء خلقنا زوجين لعلكم تذكرون

وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

'اور ہر چیز کے ہم نے جوڑے بنائے ہیں، شاید کہ تم اس سے سبق لو۔' (51:49)


یہ آیت ایک گہری یاد دہانی ہے کہ زندگی توازن اور ہم آہنگی پر قائم ہے، جہاں مخالف چیزیں ایک دوسرے کی تکمیل کرتی ہیں اور ایک دوسرے کو مکمل کرتی ہیں۔ جب میں اس پر غور کرتی ہوں، تو مجھے احساس ہوتا ہے کہ یہ سچائی کس طرح ہر پہلو میں رچی بسی ہوئی ہے۔ قدرتی دنیا، کائنات، اور ہماری اپنی تجربات سب اس اصول پر عمل پیرا ہیں—دن اور رات، غم اور خوشی، طاقت اور کمزوری، امید اور خوف۔ زمین اور آسمان، سورج اور چاند، مرد اور عورت—ہر جوڑا اپنی جگہ پر تخلیق کے توازن کو برقرار رکھنے کے لیے اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔


میں اپنی زندگی کے ان لمحوں کے بارے میں سوچتی ہوں جب میں نے محسوس کیا کہ کچھ کمی ہے، اور میری روح اکثر بنجر سی محسوس ہوتی تھی، رہنمائی، سکون یا سمجھ بوجھ کے رزق کا انتظار کر رہی تھی۔ لیکن اب میں سمجھتی ہوں کہ اللہ نے پہلے ہی میرے لیے وہ ذرائع اور حالات پیدا کر دیے ہیں جو مجھے اس تک پہنچانے کے لیے ہیں۔ جو چیلنجز، لوگ اور تجربات مجھے ملتے ہیں، وہ سب اللہ کی حکمت کے تحت میری رہنمائی کے لیے ہیں۔ جیسے آسمان کبھی بھی بارش مقررہ وقت پر نہیں بھولتا، ویسے ہی اللہ بھی وہ سب کچھ مجھے فراہم کرتا ہے جو میرے لیے لکھا گیا ہے۔


یہ آیت مجھے مشکلات کو ایک نئے انداز سے سمجھنے میں مدد دیتی ہے۔ اگر میں کسی آزمائش میں ہوں، تو اس کا جوڑا—آسانی—ضرور کہیں موجود ہوگا، جو اپنے مقررہ وقت کا انتظار کر رہا ہے۔ اللہ نے پہلے ہی اس کا انتظام کر رکھا ہے، اور میرا کام صرف بھروسہ کرنا اور صبر کرنا ہے، یہ جانتے ہوئے کہ اللہ کی حکمت کام کر رہی ہے۔ اگر یہ آسانی اس دنیا میں نہ بھی ملے، تو میں یاد رکھتی ہوں کہ ہر تکلیف کا بدلہ آخرت میں اللہ ضرور دے گا۔ اللہ کا وعدہ ہے کہ ہر تکلیف کا بدلہ اس دنیا میں ملنے والی تکلیف سے کہیں زیادہ بہتر ہوگا۔


رشتوں میں بھی مجھے اس آیت کی حکمت نظر آتی ہے۔ لوگ میری زندگی میں آتے ہیں اور جاتے ہیں، اور کبھی کبھار مجھے یہ سمجھنے میں مشکل پیش آتی ہے کہ ایسا کیوں ہوتا ہے۔ لیکن پھر میں سمجھتی ہوں کہ جیسے اللہ نے ہمارے اندر ضروریات پیدا کی ہیں، ویسے ہی اس نے ان ضروریات کو پورا کرنے کے ذرائع بھی پیدا کیے ہیں۔ وہ لوگ، وہ مواقع، وہ سبق—یہ سب پہلے سے موجود ہیں، بس اللہ کے وقت کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں کہ وہ میرے راستے میں آئیں۔


سب سے بڑھ کر، یہ آیت مجھے اللہ پر اپنی مکمل انحصار کا احساس دلاتی ہے۔ جہاں سب کچھ اپنے جوڑوں پر مکمل ہوتا ہے، اللہ واحد ہے—یعنی بے نیاز، بے جوڑا، بے مثل۔ اگر ساری تخلیق کا ہر جزو اپنے جوڑے پر انحصار کرتا ہے، تو اصل تکمیل صرف اللہ کی تلاش سے حاصل ہوتی ہے، جو تمام جوڑوں سے بلند ہے۔


اللہ سے دعا:
یا اللہ، میرے دل کو تیرے منصوبے پر کامل یقین سے بھر دے، اور مجھے صبر کی طاقت دے تاکہ میں تیرے مقرر کردہ وقت تک صبر کر سکوں۔ میری رہنمائی کر، مجھے رزق دے اور مجھے ہمیشہ تیری تلاش کی رہ دکھا، اے واحد، اے صمد (جو سب کا پناہ گاہ ہے)۔ آمین۔

I make the same dua for you, dear sister. May Allah grant you the best of both worlds. Jazakumullahu khyrn.

'And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember.' (51:49)

This verse is a profound reminder that life is built on balance and harmony, where opposites complement and complete each other. Reflecting on this, I realize how deeply this truth is embedded in every aspect of existence. The natural world, the universe, and our own experiences all follow this principle—day and night, sorrow and joy, strength and weakness, hope and fear. The earth and sky, the sun and moon, male and female—each pair plays its role in maintaining the order of creation.

I think about the times in my life when I felt lost, as though something was missing, and how often my soul felt barren, waiting for the rizq of guidance, peace, or understanding. But now I understand that Allah has already created the means and circumstances to guide me toward it. The challenges, people, and experiences I face are all part of His plan. Just as the sky never fails to send rain at its appointed time, Allah never fails to provide what is written for me.

This verse also changes my perspective on hardship. If I am enduring a trial, then its pair—relief—must already exist, waiting for its appointed time. Allah has already created it, and my role is simply to trust and remain patient, knowing that His wisdom is at work. Even if relief doesn’t come in this world, I am reminded that every hardship will be compensated in the Hereafter. Allah promises that the reward for every struggle will far outweigh the pain we experience in this life.

In relationships as well, I see the wisdom of this verse. People come and go from my life, and at times, I struggle to understand why. But then I realize that just as Allah has created needs in us, He has also created the means to fulfill them. The right people, the right opportunities, the right lessons—they are all out there, waiting for the moment Allah wills them to cross my path.

Most importantly, this verse reminds me of my dependence on Allah. While everything in creation relies on its pairs for completion, Allah is One—unique, without need, without counterpart. If everything in creation has its counterpart, then the only true source of wholeness is through seeking Allah, the One who is above all pairs.

Ya Allah, fill my heart with certainty in Your plan, and bless me with the strength to remain patient until the moments You have decreed come to pass. Guide me, provide for me, and help me always seek You, Al-Wahid Al-Samad (The One, The Eternal Refuge). Ameen.

Today while teaching about primary light colours and pigments mixing , I was telling my students how primary colours can produce secondary colors  .primary colours  are complimentary to secondary colors . Means if they are paired in any combination they produce a third colour . Primary light colours is a complimentary colour of pigments and primary pigment is complimentary of light colours. Light adds up to white and pigments addd up to black . Both black and white are again complimentary. This is all paired up and my mind just recalled this aya . Just one small thing as colour can have profound meaning . Subhanallah . Allah knows the best !
