میں سوچتی ہوں، کیوں اللہ تعالیٰ بار بار کہہ رہے ہیں، 'میں رحمان ہوں، میں رحیم ہوں۔' ایک دفعہ کہنا بھی تو بہت ہے نہ؟ لیکن نہیں، مسلسل پورے قرآن پاک میں ان دو لفظوں کی تکرار ہے، شاید ہی کوئی سورہ ایسی ہو جس میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی اس صفت کا ذکر نہ ہو۔

وجہ کیا ہے آخر؟ ہم، جی ہاں ہم، وجہ ہیں اس کی۔ ہم کیا کرتے ہیں؟ ہر دوسرے منٹ میں مایوس ہوجاتے ہیں، ہاتھ پیر چھوڑ دیتے ہیں۔ کیا کہتے ہیں ہم عموماً؟ 'مجھ سے یہ گناہ ہوگیا، آج نماز رہ گئی، یہ کام تو ہو ہی نہیں سکتا، میں نے سب خراب کردیا۔' مایوسی پر مایوسی ہماری عادت بنتی جا رہی ہے۔

لیکن وہ رب ہیں نہ، وہ ہمیں جانتا ہیں کہ ہم نے ایسا کرنا ہے، اسی لیے وہ ہر بار، بار بار کہہ رہے ہیں کہ 'کیا ہوا جو تم سے غلطی ہوگئی؟ تم توبہ کرو، میں مہربان ہوں گا تم پر، بار بار رحم کروں گا، تم مانگو، میں عطا کروں گا۔ تم ایک دفعہ مانگو گے، میں بار بار دوں گا۔' پس شرط یہ ہے کہ کسی کو شریک نہیں ٹہرانا، کیا شرط ہے؟ کسی کو شریک نہیں ٹہرانا، شیطان کی پیروی نہیں کرنی، گناہ پر اصرار نہیں کرنا، اور سب سے بڑھ کر اللہ سبحانہ وتعالیٰ کی رحمت سے مایوس نہیں ہونا۔

ایک قول کے مطابق اگر اللہ سبحانہ وتعالیٰ ساری مخلوق، ساری مطلب سب انسان، حیوان، جانور، پرندے، سب کو ایک ساتھ عطا کریں، تو بھی اس کے خزانے میں محض اتنی ہی کمی آتی ہے جتنی ایک سوئی کو سمندر میں ڈبو کر نکالنے سے پانی میں کمی آتی ہے۔

بات کو سمجھ رہے ہیں؟ یعنی ایک قطرے جتنی کمی بھی نہیں آتی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کی یہ رحمان و رحیم کی صفات ہی ہمیں جہنم سے بچائیں گی ان شاء اللہ۔ تو اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ سے اس کا رحم مانگا کریں اور مایوس نہ ہوا کریں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مایوسی کو سخت ناپسند کرتے ہیں۔

رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَ ارْحَمْ وَ اَنْتَ خَیْرُ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ۠(۱۱۸
ترجمہ: اے میرے رب، بخش دے اور رحم فرما، اور تو سب سے برتر رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

سبحان اللہ العظیم ۔۔۔بہت خوب

سورۃ الفاتحہ آیت نمبر 5
"ہم صرف تیری عبادت کرتے ہیں"

عبادت کا مطلب ہوتا ہے: بندگی، اطاعت، پوجا، آخری درجے کی عاجزی اور انکساری کے ساتھ جھکنا۔

کسی کی عبادت کیوں کی جاتی ہے؟
اس کا شکر ادا کرنے کے لیے، اس کی محبت میں، اور غلطی کے بعد اس کے ناراض ہو جانے کے خوف سے۔

عبادت کس وقت کی جائے؟
ہر وقت — خوشی میں، غمی میں، رمضان میں، شادی پر — ہر جگہ، ہر وقت عبادت کی جا سکتی ہے۔

عبادت صرف نماز، روزہ، زکوٰۃ اور حج تک محدود نہیں ہے بلکہ عبادت لفظ ہے ہر ظاہری اور باطنی قول و عمل کے لیے۔

اللہ اس بات کا مستحق ہے کہ اس کی عبادت کی جائے۔

کیا اللہ کو ہماری عبادت کی ضرورت ہے؟
بالکل نہیں۔

زمین و آسمان کی تمام مخلوق اللہ کی عبادت میں مصروف ہے، ہماری امیجینیشن سے بھی زیادہ تعداد میں فرشتے ہر وقت اللہ کی عبادت میں لگے رہتے ہیں۔

انسان کی عبادت اور فرشتے کی عبادت میں کیا فرق ہے؟
فرشتے اللہ کا حکم سنتے ہیں اور فوراً عمل کرتے ہیں۔ ان کے پاس انکار کا آپشن ہی نہیں ہے، ان سے گناہ نہیں ہوتے۔

جبکہ انسان کو اللہ نے مکمل آزادی دی ہے کہ اس کے پاس چوائس ہے کہ وہ اللہ کی بات مانے یا نہ مانے، اس پر کوئی زبردستی نہیں۔ اسے اللہ نے عقل و ذہانت دی ہے، اب اس کی مرضی ہے کہ وہ کیا چوائس کرتا ہے۔

انسان کے لیے دنیا میں بہت ڈسٹرکشنز ہیں، ہر حرام چیز انسان کو اٹریکٹ کرتی ہے، مگر جب انسان خود پر کنٹرول کر کے صرف اللہ کے لیے اس چیز کو چھوڑ دیتا ہے، یا کوئی ایسا کام کرتا ہے جو اللہ کو پسند ہے، بے شک اس میں اس کے لیے مشکلات ہوں، یہی عبادت ہے۔

شاید فرشتوں کے حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کو سجدہ کرنے کی حکمتوں میں سے ایک یہ بھی ہو کہ انسان کو اختیار دیا گیا ہے اور وہ اپنی خواہشات اور آزمائشوں کے باوجود اللہ کی اطاعت کا راستہ اختیار کر سکتا ہے۔

اس آیت میں آیا ہے کہ ہم عبادت کرتے ہیں، یعنی ہم سب — تیری تمام مخلوق۔

ہم روز دن میں پانچ مرتبہ نماز پڑھتے ہیں اور اس کی ہر رکعت میں سورۃ الفاتحہ اور یہ آیت پڑھتے ہیں۔

مطلب ہم ہر روز کتنی مرتبہ اس بات کا دعویٰ کرتے ہیں کہ اے اللہ ہم صرف تیری عبادت کرتے ہیں، صرف تیری۔

کیا ہم واقعی اس بات کا کلیم کر سکتے ہیں کہ ہم صرف اللہ کی عبادت کرتے ہیں؟
مطلب ہم کہہ رہے ہیں کہ نہ ہم ڈالرز کی عبادت کرتے ہیں، نہ ٹرینڈ کی، نہ فیشن کی، نہ رسم و رواج کی، نہ ہی اپنے آباء و اجداد کے طریقوں کی۔ ہر وہ کام جس سے اللہ کی معصیت لازم آتی ہے، ہم اس کی عبادت نہیں کرتے۔

صرف اللہ کی عبادت، خالص اللہ کی، ہر قسم کی ملاوٹ سے پاک عبادت۔

دنیا میں جس سے خوف ہوتا ہے اس سے محبت نہیں ہوتی، اور جس سے محبت ہو اس سے خوف نہیں ہوتا، مگر اللہ سے انتہا کی محبت اور اس کے ناراض ہو جانے کا خوف ایک ہی وقت میں ہوتا ہے۔

This verse reminds me that no matter how difficult a period of life may feel, Allah's mercy is always greater than my struggles. There are moments when progress feels slow, plans fall apart, or the weight of responsibilities becomes overwhelming, especially recently, yet this verse brings me back to hope. Allah SWT introduces Himself here through His compassion and mercy, teaching us that we should never despair of His help. Every new day is an opportunity to try again, seek His guidance, and trust that His mercy accompanies us through both our successes and our setbacks. Even when I feel weak or behind, this verse reminds me that I am not relying on my strength alone; I am relying on the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. Regardless of how many times I'm pushed to the edge or whenever my heart bleeds, I still return to Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem.

Basit Minhas wa iyak I believe we have a lot to be thankful for especially Allah SWT mercy Alhamdulilah.

When you call upon Allah as Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem, are you truly allowing your heart to believe that His mercy is greater than your sins, your past, and your pain?

  For myself, the more I learned about Islam and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, the more meaningful this Ayah was for me. At first, I was afraid I wouldn't be accepted because of my past. I grew up Christian, but as I got older, I considered myself an atheist for almost a decade. I made many choices in the past that I wouldn't even think of making today. As a result, I carried around a lot of shame. My perspective was similar to one who primarily thinks in black and white. I was sinful, so I felt unforgivable. 

  I was a product of my environment during that time, and I don't entirely blame myself because I was a young girl. Once I got older, though, it was up to me to break the cycle. March 14th 2025, was the day I took my shahada. It was the first time I ever stepped foot inside a Masjid. That was the turning point in my life. Alhamdulillah. I chose to leave many things for the sake of Allah, and if I did turn back to them, I never stopped turning to him. Falling is part of the rising process, and each time I returned to Allah. 

  I'm not ashamed to admit that I fell into sin many times before and after I reverted. I am, however, proud to admit that I never lost hope in Allah's mercy. I had to get out of my own head and understand that there's only one person who knows what is inside of my heart, and down to every single hair on my body. Realistically, if someone knew you that well, you wouldn't be afraid or ashamed to tell them anything. I think the best part here though, is that you don't have to tell him anything because he already knows.

  One thing that I've always particularly enjoyed about Surah Al-Fatiha is that it says he's the master of the day of judgment, but he's the Most Merciful. If you really think about that, it is so, so beautiful. You're literally saying one of the many, many mercies Allah has placed upon us.  

When I reflect on ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ being repeated again after Bismillah, it feels like Allah is gently reminding us not to forget His mercy so quickly. It reminds me that no matter how heavy life feels or how lost I sometimes feel within it, I am still living inside the mercy of my Rabb. 

So often we only recognise His mercy in the things that make us happy, the blessings we asked for, the ease we hoped for, the doors that open exactly when we want them to. But this verse makes me wonder how much of His mercy I have missed simply because it arrived in a form I did not understand. Perhaps some of the things I once saw as loss, delay or hardship were actually quiet forms of relief, protection or goodness hidden beneath the surface. 

The more I look back at my life, the more I realise that what I thought was “bad for me” sometimes carried a wisdom I could only see later. And slowly it begins to sink in, that maybe, the things that happen to us are not happening TO us but FOR us, unfolding under the mercy of Ar-Raḥman Ar-Raḥim in ways our limited hearts cannot yet see.

Julie Bosman  May Allah ease your hardship and grant your mother complete shifa. SubhanAllah! This is perfect example of tawakkul. To see His Mercy while youre still in the middle of a test. Its not easy. May Allah reward you for your patience. 

This surah begins with “Lord of all worlds”.  A phrase so vast that the mind can barely contain it. All worlds… seen and unseen, known and unknown. The scale of it stretches beyond imagination. Yet, immediately after declaring such absolute power and sovereignty, the next words do not emphasize dominance or distance. Instead, they speak of mercy.
He described himself as the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
It is striking , the One who needs nothing from anyone, the Lord of everything that exists, chooses to introduce Himself through kindness. Not through fear, but through mercy. As if to reassure the human heart that His greatness does not make Him distant. Rather, it makes Him more accessible.
In this world, kings remain behind walls, unreachable to ordinary people. But here, the King of all kings speaks differently as if saying: I see you. I see your pain, your struggle, your moments of weakness and neglect. Just turn towards Me once, and you will find how vast My compassion truly is.
Power, followed by mercy, not to remind us of how small we are, but to remind us that we are never alone.

In surah Az-Zumar, Allah addresses the human beings who have not just done wrong but have 'transgressed' against themselves. 
What amazes me is the way He calls these people. He says, ' يَٰعِبَادِىَ - My slaves'. Just this word- يَٰعِبَادِىَ  melts my heart. This word is full of love, care and compassion. After doing wrong, people or society and sometime we disown ourselves or runaway. But this ayah show that no matter how badly I mess up, Allah is and has always been with me. 
I can never begin to encompass how much He loves me. Even after doing extreme form of evil He still calls My slave-He does not disown me, He does not abandon me. No matter what happens always remember Allah is with you because the first relationship you and I have with our Rabb is that of love and Rahma. We should all renew this concept of the limitless love Allah gives us every second in every Salah when we say 'ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ'.

Whenever we are deeply impressed by the greatness of something we try to express our feelings by using superlatives. If the use of one superlative does not do full justice to our feelings, we tend to re-emphasize the extraordinary excellence of the object of our admiration by adding a second superlative of nearly equivalent meaning. * This would seem to explain the use of the word Rahim following Rahman. The form of the word Rahman connotes intensity. Yet God's mercy and beneficence towards His creatures are so great, so extensive, and of such an infinite nature that no one word, however strong its connotation, can do it full justice. The epithet Rahim was therefore added to that of Rahman.

That is certainly one possible explanation, and Allah (swt) knows best!

recall that one fellow in  school who used to ask same thing over and over again. The teacher used to say,' Ask me over 1000 times and I will clear your confusion' but there was limit for her being tolerant with that one.
Sometimes she would get harsh,sometime she would say the class time is going to end and etc etc and eventually she would say someone else from the class to help that guy.

Our Master is so compassionate , so patient with us, so subtle that  He repeats same concept to us in the most unique way.

Everytime we trip knowingly or unknowingly doesn't matters ,He forgives us over and over again, Allah despite our shortcomings makes us read His words again and again. This is Ar-Rahman. This is our Allah.❤
