۞ وَوَٰعَدۡنَا
مُوسَىٰ
ثَلَٰثِينَ
لَيۡلَةٗ
وَأَتۡمَمۡنَٰهَا
بِعَشۡرٖ
فَتَمَّ
مِيقَٰتُ
رَبِّهِۦٓ
أَرۡبَعِينَ
لَيۡلَةٗۚ
وَقَالَ
مُوسَىٰ
لِأَخِيهِ
هَٰرُونَ
ٱخۡلُفۡنِي
فِي
قَوۡمِي
وَأَصۡلِحۡ
وَلَا
تَتَّبِعۡ
سَبِيلَ
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

Mûsâ ile (bana ibadet etmesi için) otuz gece sözleşmiştik. Bunu on (gece) ile tamamlamış, böylece Rabbinin tayin ettiği vakit kırk geceyi bulmuştu. Mûsâ, kardeşi Harun'a şöyle demişti: "(Benim yokluğumda) kavmim içinde benim yerime geç; (onları) ıslâh et ve sakın bozguncuların yoluna tâbi olma".
