وَجَٰوَزۡنَا
بِبَنِيٓ
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ٱلۡبَحۡرَ
فَأَتَوۡاْ
عَلَىٰ
قَوۡمٖ
يَعۡكُفُونَ
عَلَىٰٓ
أَصۡنَامٖ
لَّهُمۡۚ
قَالُواْ
يَٰمُوسَى
ٱجۡعَل
لَّنَآ
إِلَٰهٗا
كَمَا
لَهُمۡ
ءَالِهَةٞۚ
قَالَ
إِنَّكُمۡ
قَوۡمٞ
تَجۡهَلُونَ
١٣٨
İsrailoğulları'nı denizden geçirmiştik. Kendilerine ait bir takım putlarına ibadet eden bir topluma uğradılar. Ey Musa, bunların ilahları gibi bize de bir ilah yapsana! dediler. Musa da onlara: Şüphesiz, cahillik eden bir toplumsunuz! dedi.

The Children of Israel safely cross the Sea, but still held on to the Idea of Idol Worshipping
