انا ارسلناك بالحق بشيرا ونذيرا ولا تسال عن اصحاب الجحيم ١١٩

إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ بَشِيرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُ عَنْ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ١١٩

أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ

بِٱلۡحَقِّ

بَشِيرٗا

وَنَذِيرٗاۖ

وَلَا

تُسۡـَٔلُ

عَنۡ

أَصۡحَٰبِ

ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

١١٩

[119] และแท้จริงเราได้ส่งเจ้ามาพร้อมด้วยความจริง ในฐานะผู้แจ้งข่าวดี และผู้ตักเตือน และเจ้าจะไม่ถูกไต่สวนเกี่ยวกับชาวเปลวเพลิงที่ลุกโชติช่วง

บทอ่าน

وَلَا تُسْئَلُ

wa-lā tusʾalu

“You are not (to be) asked about the people of hellfire”

This is a negation: the Prophet (ﷺ) is informed that he is not accountable for the unbelievers’ rejection.

وَلَا تَسْأَلْ

wa-lā tasʾal

“Do not ask about the people of hellfire.”

This is an instruction to the Prophet (ﷺ) to refrain from asking.

คำอธิบาย

The two readings convey complementary meanings. The second reading can be taken as an expression for how severe their punishment will be [al-Mahdawi].

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
