واذا قيل لهم اسجدوا للرحمان قالوا وما الرحمان انسجد لما تامرنا وزادهم نفورا ۩ ٦٠

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ قَالُوا۟ وَمَا ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًۭا ۩ ٦٠

وَإِذَا

قِيلَ

لَهُمُ

ٱسۡجُدُواْۤ

لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ

قَالُواْ

وَمَا

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ

أَنَسۡجُدُ

لِمَا

تَأۡمُرُنَا

وَزَادَهُمۡ

نُفُورٗا ۩

٦٠

[60] และเมื่อได้ถูกกล่าวแก่พวกเขาว่า จงสุญูดต่อพระผู้ทรงกรุณาปรานี พวกเขาได้กล่าวว่า ใครคือพระผู้ทรงกรุณาปรานี จะให้เราสุญูดตามที่ท่านสั่งเรากระนั้นหรือ และมันได้เพิ่มการหันห่างออกไปแก่พวกเขา

تَأۡمُرُنَا

taʾmurunā

“to what you command us”

This is in the second person, as the polytheists directed this objection to the Prophet ﷺ.

يَأۡمُرُنَا

yaʾmurunā

“to what he commands us”

In this reading, the polytheists speak of the Prophet ﷺ in the third person.
