وعلمناه صنعة لبوس لكم لتحصنكم من باسكم فهل انتم شاكرون ٨٠

وَعَلَّمْنَـٰهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوسٍۢ لَّكُمْ لِتُحْصِنَكُم مِّنۢ بَأْسِكُمْ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُمْ شَـٰكِرُونَ ٨٠

وَعَلَّمۡنَٰهُ

صَنۡعَةَ

لَبُوسٖ

لَّكُمۡ

لِتُحۡصِنَكُم

مِّنۢ

بَأۡسِكُمۡۖ

فَهَلۡ

أَنتُمۡ

شَٰكِرُونَ

٨٠

[80] และเราได้สอนเขาให้รู้การทำเสื้อเกราะแก่พวกเจ้า เพื่อป้องกันเจ้าจากการรบพุ่งกัน แล้วพวกเจ้าจะเป็นผู้กตัญญูขอบคุณบ้างไหม

บทอ่าน

لِتُحۡصِنَكُمْ

li-tuḥṣinakum

“so it may protect you”

لِيُحۡصِنَكُمْ

li-yuḥṣinakum

“so it may protect you”

This verb is conjugated in the third person masculine singular, going back to the word labūs, the protective armour.

لِنُحۡصِنَكُمْ

li-nuḥṣinakum

“so We may protect you”
