Allah swears by the night. 
He says 'when it covers...' leaving the object of the verb open ended. The implied object can be understood as 'covers the day,' or 'covers everything' in darkness
Allah takes this oath by the night to alert us to its important role in our lives. It is the time when everything becomes still and we have a chance to give our bodies the comforting rest that we need.

Allah has created everything in pairs, and through these opposites, He helps us to know HIM. By experiencing contrasts, we are able to recognize truth, and through tests, we discover our true selves.

Allah,the ONE who allows diamonds and coal to emerge from the same element, carbon has also created all of us from the same raw material,clay. He has honored us by gifting us intellect and a ruh (soul).
Yet, from this same origin, our outcomes can differ greatly. It depends on how we strive and respond to life’s tests.

Just as pressure transforms carbon into a diamond, trials can refine a believer and reveal their best potential. Conversely, the same element may remain coal if it is not properly nurtured.

Test like the battle of Uhud offer us a choice: 

To embrace the test and allow it to shape us into the best version of ourselves, like a diamond.

Or to crumble like coal.

Every test is an opportunity to reveal our true selves and to decide who we want to become.

In this month that Allah has blessed ,May He burns our sins and purify and raise our status with HIM...

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ ذَنْبَي ، وَطَهِّرْ قَلْبَي ، وَحَصِّنْ فَرْجَي

Allahummaghfir dhanbi, wa tahhir qalbi, wa hassin farji

O Allāh, forgive my sins, purify my heart, and guard my chastity.

Allah has painted a picture with highly contrasting colours but merged in each other so beautifully that created a picture that is humanly impossible.
Night vs day
Dark and bright 
Rest and action 
Soft and tough 
Covering and revealing
But they compliment each other to facilitate life
Men vs women 
Hard and soft
Rigid and flexible 
Action and tranquility 
But they compliment each other to facilitate life

Why Allah mentioned day and night separately but men and women together ?
I think, 
- Allah created everything for facilitating human but He created human (which includes men and women)for higher purpose.
- Purpose of creation of human and creation of other things are very very contrast.
- Every creation of Allah have different purpose but although men and women created differently but their purpose is same.
- Every creation of Allah facilitates human ( which includes men and women) towards their purpose in similar fashion, they never differ.
- Other creation has no afterlife, but human has

This is quite an enlightenment! JAK for highlighting the contrasting points. Indeed human beings have been created to worship Allah SWT. May we all profoundly appreciate our Creator. Ameen.
