ربنا اني اسكنت من ذريتي بواد غير ذي زرع عند بيتك المحرم ربنا ليقيموا الصلاة فاجعل افيدة من الناس تهوي اليهم وارزقهم من الثمرات لعلهم يشكرون ٣٧
رَّبَّنَآ إِنِّىٓ أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِى بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِى زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ ٱلْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجْعَلْ أَفْـِٔدَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهْوِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ وَٱرْزُقْهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ ٣٧
Shpjegim
These are the same word, with the additional ya' (read from the same skeletal form) being an alternative pronunciation at this juncture only [al-Alusi]. Editor's note: it is also possible that this reading points to another meaning found in non-canonical readings, i.e. "delegations" of people who would flock to Makkah.
