{ وَقَالُوا نَحْنُ أَكْثَرُ أَمْوَالًا وَأَوْلَادًا } أي: ممن اتبع الحق { وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ } أي: أولا, لسنا بمبعوثين, فإن بعثنا, فالذي أعطانا الأموال والأولاد في الدنيا, سيعطينا أكثر من ذلك في الآخرة ولا يعذبنا.
