اولايك الذين نتقبل عنهم احسن ما عملوا ونتجاوز عن سيياتهم في اصحاب الجنة وعد الصدق الذي كانوا يوعدون ١٦

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنْهُمْ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَنَتَجَاوَزُ عَن سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ فِىٓ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖ وَعْدَ ٱلصِّدْقِ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ ١٦

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ

ٱلَّذِينَ

نَتَقَبَّلُ

عَنۡهُمۡ

أَحۡسَنَ

مَا

عَمِلُواْ

وَنَتَجَاوَزُ

عَن

سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ

فِيٓ

أَصۡحَٰبِ

ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ

وَعۡدَ

ٱلصِّدۡقِ

ٱلَّذِي

كَانُواْ

يُوعَدُونَ

١٦

Tais são aqueles dos quais aceitamos o melhor do que têm feito, e lhes absolvemos as faltas, (contando-os) entre osdiletos do Paraíso, porque é uma promessa verídica, que lhes foi anunciada.

نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنۡهُمۡ أَحۡسَنَ ... وَنَتَجَاوَزُ

nataqabbalu ʿanhum aḥsana ... wa-natajāwazu

“We accept from them the best...and We excuse”

In this reading, Allah speaks of His action with the first-person majestic plural.

يُتَقَبَّلُ عَنۡهُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ ... وَيُتَجَاوَزُ

yutaqabbalu ʿanhum aḥsanu ... wa-yutajāwazu

“the best of what they do is accepted......and their sins are excused”
