اتخذناهم سخريا ام زاغت عنهم الابصار ٦٣
أَتَّخَذْنَـٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ ٦٣
أَتَّخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ
سِخۡرِيًّا
أَمۡ
زَاغَتۡ
عَنۡهُمُ
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
٦٣
Is het omdat wij hen tot onderwerp van bespotting maakten, of slagen de ogen er niet in hen te zien?"

“Did we really take them as a laughing-stock?”
These two readings contain an interrogative hamzah. There are two linguistic forms for the accusative word.
