Al-A'raf 7:70 قالوا اجيتنا لنعبد الله وحده ونذر ما كان يعبد اباونا فاتنا بما تعدنا ان كنت من الصادقين ٧٠
قَالُوٓاْ
أَجِئۡتَنَا
لِنَعۡبُدَ
ٱللَّهَ
وَحۡدَهُۥ
وَنَذَرَ
مَا
كَانَ
يَعۡبُدُ
ءَابَآؤُنَا
فَأۡتِنَا
بِمَا
تَعِدُنَآ
إِن
كُنتَ
مِنَ
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
٧٠
Zij zeiden: "Ben jij tot ons gekomen opdat Wij Allah ah Enige aanbidden en verlaten wat onze vaderen plachten te aanbidden? Laat dan komen, hetgeen wat jij ons aanzegt, als jij tot de waarachtigen behoort."

Allah mentions the rebellion, defiance and stubbornness of Hud'speople, and their opposition to him, peace be upon him,
قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَحْدَهُ
(They said: "You have come to us that we should worship Allah Alone") Later on, the disbelievers of Quraysh said,
وَإِذْ قَالُواْ اللّ
