Al-A'raf 7:168 وقطعناهم في الارض امما منهم الصالحون ومنهم دون ذالك وبلوناهم بالحسنات والسييات لعلهم يرجعون ١٦٨
وَقَطَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
أُمَمٗاۖ
مِّنۡهُمُ
ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ
وَمِنۡهُمۡ
دُونَ
ذَٰلِكَۖ
وَبَلَوۡنَٰهُم
بِٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ
وَٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
يَرۡجِعُونَ
١٦٨
En Wij verdeelden hen op aarde in gemeenschappen. Onder hen zijn rechtschapenen en onder hen zijn er die dat niet zijn, en Wij beproefden hen met de goede en de slechte dingen. Hopelijk zullen zij terugkeren.

Allah states that He divided the Jews into various nations, sects and groups,
